Fred takes quite a lot of brushing when he comes in from the field. He's part Bog Monster and likes to really soak up the mud
Lucky for him he's loved and a little bit spoilt so he gets scrubbed while he eats his hay 💙

I try to colour code their buckets, so everyone gets a feed designed for their individual needs. I don't know why I bother, they all share and mix and match anyway 😅

This stunning 6 year old mare has come to join our small herd with the aim of potentially being a Broodmare alongside Bella
For now, she will be given the full Siedi Shires treatment. A good pedicure, vet check, vaccinations, teeth check and a physio/chiro. She will be fully fit and healthy by March when she will meet with Fred 😉😙😘
Today we just concentrated on some good grazing and relaxing in the sun. I can't wait to see what the future holds for this girl 💕

Sioe Llangeitho Show was a quiet day for Shires, Bella and Rosie both got 1st in their classes and little Rosie came home with Reserve Champion, that's the 3rd one this year 😍

After watching the Trooping the Colour today and seeing the drum horses on parade it reminded me of our own parade with Osian earlier this year
Here he is at Barley Saturday learning how to be a very good boy while lots of people cheer him on
Perhaps we have another drum horse to join the ranks? 🥁
Today is payday, I've been lucky enough to receive a small bonus this month.
So of course, Rosie hurts herself and I've now got a huge vets bill. That's the way of the world of keeping horses

Today I put on my big brave girl pants and entered Sioe Aberystwyth a Sir Ceredigion / Aberystwyth and Ceredigion County Show
Bella and Rosie will be there along with Osian if all goes to plan 🤞

Life is so fun at a week old 😍
Bella is 355 days into pregnancy, she's starting to "wax" which is a good sign we are getting very close to foaling.
She's gone out in the sunshine for a few hours under the very watchful eyes of Fred and Osian 🤩
Osian is washed, fed and tucked into bed ready for his big show tomorrow!
