Important information for ALL bird keeps - please read.

From midnight tonight an all-Wales Avian Influenza Prevention Zone (AIPZ) will be introduced.

This follows rising cases in other parts of Great Britain.

The AIPZ requires all bird keepers, irrespective of the size or type of flock, to take immediate action to ensure high standards of hygiene and biosecurity on a daily basis.

❌ We have made the decision to close the practice this morning in the best interest of staff and clients. There is still a 'Red' warning in place and everyone is advised not to travel. ❌

There are also currently power issues at the practice.

There is limited phone answering due the conditions - so please contact us by email or facebook messenger and we will get back to you on Monday.

Sadly we have had a deceased cat brought in to us this morning.

Found on the road near the garage in Saron. It is a ginger male neutered cat.

If you ar missing yours then please give us a call on 01559 363318 and ask to speak to one of our nursing team.

Llongyfarchiadau mawr i Chloe Rees - Congratulations. 🥰

We received the news today that Chloe has passed the final stage of her Veterinary Student Nursing course, which means that once registration is completed, she will become an RVN -(Registered Veterinary Nurse).

We are all very proud of Chloe who has worked hard over the last 2 years both at Tysul and at her attended course in Coleg Sir Gar.

The route to becoming an RVN requires a lot of dedication, hard work, studying and exams as well as practical work. The final stage, OSCES - (Objective Structured Clinical Examination) are a set of practical exams that she passed with flying colours.

Well done Chloe and the rest of the team that supported her through this process especially her Clinical Coach, our Head Nurse, Ffion Rees.

Sharing this post from one of our local charities from last year.

It still reminds us that we should remember all of those that served and lost their lives.

The purple poppy represents the animals who played thir parts and also were lost.

Think of them as well today on Remembrance Sunday and tomorrow at the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month.

🎅The winners will be announced during the Christmas Fair on Saturday 7th December. There is a trophy for the business winner and a cash prize for homeowners.
This is a competition for Businesses (windows) and for Homeowners (windows or external lights and decorations). Homeowners are asked to let the Llandysul and Pont-Tyweli Ymlaen office know in advance if they want to take part and to give their address as we will need your address. The winning windows and the presentation of the winners will be photographed and maybe used to promote Christmas events in Llandysul.
