It still reminds us that we should remember all of those that served and lost their lives.

The purple poppy represents the animals who played thir parts and also were lost.

Think of them as well today on Remembrance Sunday and tomorrow at the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month.

🎅The winners will be announced during the Christmas Fair on Saturday 7th December. There is a trophy for the business winner and a cash prize for homeowners.
This is a competition for Businesses (windows) and for Homeowners (windows or external lights and decorations). Homeowners are asked to let the Llandysul and Pont-Tyweli Ymlaen office know in advance if they want to take part and to give their address as we will need your address. Send us your details via the Llandysul Christmas Fair page, or email [email protected]. The winning windows and the presentation of the winners will be photographed and maybe used to promote Christmas events in Llandysul.

A reminder that if you keep poultry - even just one chicken - you need to ensure you have registered with APHA (Animal Plant and Health Agency) from the 1st October 2024.

We are aware that the registration site is having technical issues but read the article below to see how you can you can register with a downloaded form while the online form is 'offline'.

From 1 October, a new legal requirement for all bird keepers in England and Wales to register on the GB poultry register comes into force. Legally, keepers must register themselves with the APHA (Animal Plant Health Agency) before 1 October 2024.

🐾 Today is International Dog Day. It's a day to celebrate your own dog and also to think about the huge number of dogs in the UK that currently don't have homes.

🐾 Every day dogs are abandoned or sent to charities for rehoming - for a variety of reasons.

🐾 If you are looking for a new pet - think about giving a home to one in a rescue - if you are able to.

🐾 Let's celebrate all dogs today for all the love and joy they bring us. This is our dog Zoom when he was a puppy.

Young adult cat looking for a home 🐈🐾

We posted a few weeks ago about this young cat that was brought in as a stray to us.

As nobody has come forward, we would like to try and find him a home.

🐾 He is lovely and friendly and has now been neutered. He is being well looked after by our vets and nurses but he really deserves a permanent and loving home.
