Yesterday we lost a valued team member.

Lilly. Where to begin? Let’s start at the end. Peaceful, dignified, a nice meal and a sleep. Perfect, you just fell asleep. Your spirit was still strong but your body was tired.

The beginning: A whirlwind, mischief and full of fun. You learned everything at the drop of a hat.

The middle: clever, brave, so eager to learn. So so affectionate, the cuddles were immense, you did everything with 110% effort including loving. Because of you, my love of Dalmatians was born and now I never want to be without one. Your children and grandchildren carry your name so you will always be there on paper and here with us through them. More importantly you will ALWAYS be in our hearts.

You will be talked about forever, the antics you got up to! Cakes stolen, cooked meat joints gone! You taught me patience and the importance of keeping the sides clear! You guarded us when we were on the road and what a watch dog you were, we always know who was coming, friend or foe! Once you knew people, you gave them the best smiles.

You were a perfect dog for Tilly, I think you thought she was one of your pups! 

You were one in a million, you’re a good girl. We love you Lilly loop. Sleep tight now ###x
