It's that time again – Llanelli (Non-Reindeer) Reindeer Parade 2022 comes to town THIS Saturday, and we’ve got all the details for you right here! 👇
🥁🎺 Our Non-Reindeer Parade will set off from Ffwrnes Theatre at 12pm, with princesses and superheroes as far as the eye can see, not forgetting our breakout star from last year – the Grinch! Yes, we're all sad that we don’t have the reindeer this year, but where else can you see Santa riding in a festive tuk-tuk?!
🎅🛺 Speaking of, after our parade culminates in Spring Gardens, you can hop aboard the Christmas tuk-tuk for a special ride and photo with Santa! All our characters will also be out and about until 3pm, so there’s plenty of time to meet them and grab a selfie with all your favourites 📸
🎶🎤 Entertainment begins on our Stepney Square stage at 11am as Sarah Kate kicks things off, followed by The Thrillionaires at 1pm and a special set from the students of Llanelli School of Music and Drama at 2pm! Don’t forget to have a spin on our fairground rides while you’re there 🎠
🍔🧁 Treat yourself to some hot street food or grab yourself some goodies from our market traders on Stepney Street, there from 9am to 3pm.
But that’s not all! There’s a whole load of activities on throughout the town centre (we don’t do things in halves in Llanelli!), so here’s a quick rundown of everything...
🏮💂 Decorate and take home your very own festive lanterns and Christmas biscuits with A Taste of Times Past in St Elli Shopping Centre Llanelli! Santa’s Grotto also opens in the centre at 1pm, so make sure you’ve got your lists handy! And of course, our Christmas Nutcracker Trail is on until Saturday 31st December – pick up a map from outside the Grotto and find the nutcrackers hidden around town for the chance to win a bike 🚲
📮✉️ Send your letter to the North Pole and get stuck into Christmas crafts all day at Llanelli Library!
🎁🛍 Ffwrnes Christmas Fair is on from 11am to 4pm, with plenty of stalls, live music, kids’ crafts, and food and drink for everyone to enjoy!
🎄🗺 Christmas Around the World takes over EJs dance and grill bar from 10am to 2pm for a celebration of international festive food and community, organised by Foothold Cymru!
