🥞 PANCAKE DAY – TUESDAY 4TH MARCH! 🥞

Time to grab those frying pans because Pancake Day isn’t just for humans. It’s for doggy's too! 🐶🎉

We’ve put together a super simple, dog friendly pancake recipe so your dog can join in the flipping fun!

🛒 Ingredients:
✔️ 2 ripe bananas
✔️ 2 eggs
✔️ A sq**rt of honey
✔️ 1 tablespoon of xylitol-free peanut butter 🥜
✔️ Coconut oil or rapeseed oil for frying

🥄 Method:
1️⃣ Mash the bananas and mix with eggs until smooth (a few lumps are fine!)
2️⃣ Stir in the peanut butter and a little honey for extra flavour
3️⃣ Heat a pan on medium and grease with coconut or rapeseed oil
4️⃣ Pour the batter into fun shapes or make mini pancakes
5️⃣ Flip when one side is cooked (be careful if using cookie cutters – they get hot!)
6️⃣ Let them cool before serving

✨ Want to jazz them up? Add dog safe toppings like sliced strawberries or blueberries for an extra treat! 🍓🫐

📌 Reminder: These are a treat, not a meal replacement. Always tailor recipes to your dog’s needs and check with your vet if unsure.

Hey Doggy Desserts Family......Hooray you've found us!

Let me take a second to introduce myself for those of you who i haven't met yet. My name is Lee and 3 years ago (gosh time flies) we decided to convert part of our pet shop based in Llanelli, South West Wales into a bakery just for dogs, known today as Doggy Desserts.

I had been making hand made doggy biscuits for a long time at home since my boxer dog (Ozzy) was small due to his allergies and food intolerance's. You may think that having a pet shop I would find something that would keep Ozzy's allergies to a minimum. After going through different treats from various manufactures, I was unable to find anything that Ozzy was either able to consume long term. Because of this I was intrigued to find out how natural ingredients without additives or preservatives could be used to produce a healthy, tasty treat. I knew I that needed to make a difference and share my products with other dog owners.
