💥CELLULITIS / LYMPHANGITIS

Cellulitis is a diffuse or widespread swelling of the skin and subcutaneous tissue the area directly below the surface layer of the skin, caused by inflammation usually associated with bacterial infection. Typical case of a swollen leg with heat, tenderness and lameness. Treatment includes antibiotics for the infection.

How does the TheraPlate help with treating Cellulitis?

💥Laminitis

Laminitis is a prevalent and extremely painful condition in horses that has significant welfare implications. It is an inflammatory condition of laminae bonding the hoof wall to the pedal bone in the hoof. It is often recurrent for individual horses. Laminitis is due to a lack of blood flow in the laminae which produces swelling and inflammation in the hoof. Laminitis in horses is a serious condition of the foot caused by the pedal bone rotating and pointing towards the horses sole and in the worst cases to sink right through it.

How does the TheraPlate help with treating Laminitis / Founder?

By helping improving blood flow into the feet can aid in clearing and cleaning the circulatory system and the lymphatic system and help provide some digital vasodilatory (shock) support. Help reduce inflammation and increase hoof growth.
