Here is an update on some of our beautiful donkeys β€οΈ
The final donkey was finally cleared by the vet as fit to travel and has arrived at Many Tears! She is yet to be named but is settling in so well and is already looking in much better condition than when she was first found.
Floss, Dewi & baby Sennen are all available for adoption and you can find them on our website. Ideally we would love for the three of them to be homed together. https://www.manytearsrescue.org/otherslookingforhome.php
Thank you so much for helping us to rescue these amazing animals, we are so grateful for all of your support and are so thrilled that they are now well on the way to health and happiness.
This might be the cutest video you will see all week! Baby Sennen our little donkey having the time of her life having zoomies in the sunshine!
Here is an update on some of the horses and ponies here at the rescue centre!
Rue & Valley are both doing really well and are ready to find their forever homes. If you think you could offer either of them a lovely home please visit our website to find out more information about them - https://www.manytearsrescue.org/otherslookingforhome.php
Little Parsley is settling in and doing really well too. He isn't quite ready for adoption yet, but we will keep you updated on him! Guajiro one of our resident horses has had a lovely day too and had a groom from a lovely volunteer! π
This very handome fellow is Valley. He has come to us having been a stud and has been recently gelded. Valley is rising approx 12-13yrs old and stands at around 15.2hh.
Valley's hormones havent quite settled yet so he is still a work in progress when it comes to making friends, but he does go out riding with another gelding and has been content in a yard next door to a little elderly mare. Many of our horses have come to us as stallions and they do take some time to settle those hormones down so we know he will settle eventually.
Valley isnt particularly well educated when riding and so he does lack confidence. He has been used to being ridden in a Western style but we are teaching him English here and he is learning well.
He is looking for an experienced and knowledgable home who can help him move forwards. If you believe you can offer this stunning boy with all his personality the wonderful home he deserves and are very serious about rehoming him please contact Sylvia at [email protected]
Our lovely new pony Rue having her teeth done by the vet. Her teeth were terrible and she has an ulcer on her tongue which has been causing her pain and difficulty eating. All caused by years of neglect. The vet estimates she is around 20 years old! π΄β€οΈ
