This is a family run business. We are one of the longest established Kennels in South Wales.
Berwick Boarding Kennels was opened by Bernard and Joan Sheehan in 1975. The kennels run under their ownership for many successful years and only recently at age 83 years old, offering a home boarding service, Joan threw in the towel and called it a day. Unfortunately, Bernard is no longer with us, but he will always be remember through Berwick Boarding Kennels and the beautiful property that he built on the grounds.
The kennels closed for many years after the death of Bernard Sheehan. Daughter Phillipa Chappell and sons Jordan and Daniel decided to re-open the family business and re established the customer base and very quickly customers were returning with their dogs to use the services which were appreciated previously by so many.
In 2015, Phillipa passed the kennels over to Grandson Christopher Sheehan. Chris immediately took on extra staff and with the growing business applied for planning permission to expand. Berwick Boarding Kennels is now one of the biggest, longest serving and trusted boarding kennels in South Wales.
