Louie on his rest stop during a morning walk. We always stop for a treat and breather about halfway through to apppreciate the beauty of the meadow we walk round. I think he’s more focused on the treats than the ambience though 😆

Beulah and Richard are a husband and wife partnership based in Llangattock and have over 30 years experience in animal care and over nine years experience with dog and cat boarding care. Having worked with or owned animals all our lives, we are well-suited to looking after your pets and have also completed Dog First Aid, as well as Canine Body Language courses, increasing our skills in new areas of animal care. Richard is focused on dog walkings and house sitting, as well as the online presence of Contented Pets. He has had dogs in his family for as long as he can remember, and has also had a variety of small animal pets, from hamsters to rats and tropical fish. Beulah shares the dog walks, as well as specialising in Cat feeds and small animal care. She handles booking arrangements for Contented Pets, as well as the home boarding guests. She has also looked after horses, rabbits and chickens over the years, and has completed courses in dog nutrition with one of the UK’s leading dry pet food companies. Sadly, we lost our Collie called Jasmine to cancer last year. She was the ‘third member’ of our team, often providing companionship for our doggy guests. We currently have a cat, Lucy, as well as some guinea pigs. These pets are kept out of the way of our doggy guests.
Our focus is to make each animal under our care, whether walking or boarding or feeding a truly ‘contented pet’ - we put a lot of personal effort in to make their experience as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. All needs are considered, and we have had some guests with very particular requirements which we have strived to meet. It’s always a pleasure to meet new pets, and of course their owners too!
