Another proud breeder day today Cwrtycapel Celt. by Cwrtycapel Copper's Image WPBR out out Carries Lass TB. was Champion of Champions for 2024 at Pen y Graig Show today along with his other wins in the ring. Proud breeders day today I think. My homebred filly Cwrtycapel Super Model WPBR. Sire Cwrtycapel Copper's Image (Charlie) WPBR and SPSS Graded stallion Dam High Fashion ( Ripley) a Hanoverian mare grand daughter of Medoc. Now in the hands of Suzy Gibson did very well at the Anglesey County Show gaining 1st in a Ridden class, 2nd in the Welsh Part Bred and finally 3rd in the Riding Club Horse class out of 12 entries. Fantastic news Good Luck to the team and for the future with her, Turned out to be a little gem.

Happy Easter to you all. Had my first brood of chicks hatch out this morning, how good is this on Easter Monday as well . I will check tomorrow to se how many hatched out. Cwrtycapel Copper's Image 2000 liver chestnut 15.1h WPBR, Licenced & Graded SPSS stallion. There will be an increase in the stud fee as from 2022 and charge for the keep of the mare, this is due to increased cost of feed and hay. This is Cwrtycapel Lady Charlotte, a 4 yr old mare by Cwrtycapel Copper's Image (Charlie) WPBR. SPSS Graded stallion out of High Fashion, (Ripley). She has now been backed and ridden by her new owners Claire and Aneesa. Wishing them all the very best with her she will have a bright future ahead of her, she will make a lovely all -rounder. Just thought I would show off some of Cwrtycapel Coppers Image's (Charlie) WPBR, Licenced & SPSS Graded offspring. Charlie is back under saddle after his long covering season, we are concentrating on his dressage this winter with a little bit of showing under saddle. He is really enjoying his work along side his 4 yr old son who we have just backed and going well, hopefully he will also be competing at novice level dressage later this winter. Like his father he has a wonderful attitude towards work with a fantastic temprement, he is Cwrtycapel Limited Edition aka Teddy. He has had lovely very correct foals this year, they will be shown with their owners at the winter shows. Good luck to all those Charlie foals that will be shown this season. These are only some of his recent stock the eldest being rising 6 year olds. Most shown in hand and done very well. A couple now competing at show jumping and dressage. The dams are all varied from 13h to 16.2h and all breeds and type and still he produces the same stamp of foal with the most important being all have a wonderful temprement like Charlie their grand dam Trehwfafarm Blackbird and their grand sire Greigiau Copper Tornador Welsh Sec B. who is still here at 19 yrs of age. a grand, lovely stallion.

I heard some good news thiis morning about Trehwfafarm Nightshade, aka BOZZ ,this was before the Cwrtycapel Prefix came in use, Bozz is a pure Irish draught c**t I bred here at Trehwfa by Hillviewfarm Milligan RID out of Bamber Dymphna RID by Shauna's Diamond RID by Jeisiur RID.
He was sold to a lovely family home where he will be for life. He is so looked after as can be seen in the photos below. Amanda and Richard came here to view him and at the time Amanda was in a wheelchair due to an accident, and she had to have him there and then. He was off to South Wales the next day. It is a lovely story both for the owners and the horse, who has been so well looked after and he has looked after them too. He has gone cross country and show jumping and being in the ribbons.
This weekend he was shown in hand in the Sports horse classes and came first and Supreme in hand Champion, such a lovely horse. Thank you Amanda for looking after him so well, he is a credit to you, many more wins from now on. Good luck with him.

Cwrtycapel Fairy Footsteps by Cwrtycapel Copper's Image WPB, SPSS Graded stallion did very well the other day at PYG, 5 x 1st In Hand Champion and Reserve Supreme only an yearling and her first time out in a show, behaved impeccably bless her ,thanks to Meirion and Emily williams for showing her for me.

Just to let people know although it is late in the covering season that due to this outbreak of Equine Flu we will not be accepting any mares to stud until this outbreak has been cleared nor any of the horses will be going to any shows. Remaining mares will be returned home as soon as they have been covered , these mares were here before the outbreak began, thank goodness. We should all be figilent and try to retain this outbreak to stop it spreading any further. Think of the horses/ponies not our own pleasures goings to shows and events. If I am loosing out on stud fees so what I will have happy healthy horses at the end of the day and not huge
vets fees.
