As many of you are aware by now, the availability of Anthracite will be very limited this Winter, in fact probably non existent! This is due to the Welsh Government refusing planning permission to the biggest mine in the country – Onllwyn in South Wales, who closed down earlier this year.
We can however offer a man made equivalent in the form of:

Easyheat (Premium Ovoid) – same sizing as Large Anthracite

Dragons Flame (Economy Ovoid) – Also same size as Large Anthracite

Briteheat – Same sizing as Small Anthracite.

All these products stay in 24/7 – Good heat output – Burn down to dust. No clinker as with anthracite.

Obviously as with any change in fuel you will need to experiment a bit, but generally:

Start the fire with plenty of dry kindling with air vent open.

Once established add more fuel and close down as required.
