For 2025 there will be limited availability. I had a huge realisation this year that I'm human and not a machine 😅🤣 3 weeks holiday and the odd day here and there were not enough for me to take time for myself.
With that in mind, I'm going to be home one week a month (I will still be dog walking and offering pop in visits during the day) that same weekend I will not be working, so no dog walks or pet sitting one weekend a month.

So far the only definite holiday is my birthday 🥳

Today is my last official day as a cleaner at Llanfechain Primary School
If you'd ask me a year ago when I was searching for part time jobs that it would only take this long to build my pet sitting business to the point it's got to already?! I would have laughed and said absolutely not!

I always say thank you as if I'm standing on stage at the Oscars, I'm not sure how else to express my gratitude. I cannot thank you enough for supporting me, for believing in me and for using my services.

I'm certainly not there and have made mistakes along the way, but definitely amazed at how good this chapter of my life is going. I may make it look fluffy, but owning your own business means you are just constantly learning and adapting most days. It's hard work! 😅

In addition to leaving the school, I am NO LONGER accepting new clients for dog walking or pet sitting. I am fully booked for the rest of the year with only a few days here and there for me to stay in my own house 😂

You are all so wonderful, I've really built some amazing connections and hope it only gets better from here.

This post is longer than I thought it would be so I'm going to write another one about holidays and availability for next year because a few months of it are already fully booked. I'd like to give my regulars a chance to get your holiday dates in. Hence why I won't be accepting any new clients for the foreseeable.

Stan and Ned, a weekend stay that was exactly what the doctor ordered! The cuddles from Ned 💚 and Stan, bless him an old soul he happily joined us on walks, even shuffled up on the sofa for a fuss which (Apparently) is rare. Such a short but very sweet stay, they showed me the surrounding fields and stunning views around the house. I took Ned out for Sunday lunch and he's an absolute delight in the car and such a good boy while I was eating. Fingers crossed I get to see these two again 🐾☺️💚

Lottie, Lola, Bertie and Binx certainly stole my heart for the week. We absolutely loved our early morning stroll down the lane, up Gear Fawr and Llandrinio park before it got too hot for them. A little game of fetch in the afternoon and so many cuddles. These doggos and cat were great company, what a purrfect first stay with them 🥰😍

Such a stunning week with Sparrow. He's been so playful; lots of zoomies in the garden, we've been loving our walks around the grounds. Still tries to get on my lap every so often 😆😂 he's convinced he's a lap dog and does this funny thing, where he'll nibble your nose! So grateful to have slowed down this weekend and switch off from my phone, enjoyed being in the garden reading my book and even went out to spend time with my family at Churchstoke fun day.

It can be quite difficult making time for yourself in this job when it's 7 days a week, around the clock, but when it happens I cherish every moment and so grateful to have such a loving family. 🐾💚

Magical pet sit as always ✨ Boo hasn't been in the best of health recently, so had to make sure his meds were taken twice daily and he's a very clever boy. I made sure he wasn't looking and stuffed his tablets in all sorts of treats to ensure they went down! I absolutely love the routine here, the more animals the better I say 🤗🤭 I love visiting Buddy and Forest across the stream in the field for an apple or carrot to share, most of the cats come with me too on this journey! Me and fluffs absolutely love our long morning walks through the forest and around the lake. Of course, topping up the buns water, feed and having a little fuss. I'm so happy to return in October, see you all then fluffy crew 🐾💚

A little bit about me outside of Pawsome Pet Nanny

I LOVE to be outside whether it's walking through forests, up mountains, on or in water, any kind of activity that involves being out basically!

My favourite pastime is reading; I've read 17 books so far this year. You'll see me glued to crime or psychological thrillers (not sure what that says about me 😬)

I'm also a pub gal at heart; I challenge anyone to a game of pool and playing cards! Especially crazy kings which is currently my favourite!

I also love a puzzle book, sudoku, arrow word and cross words while listening to radio 6, radio 2 and 60/70s music

I'm enjoying getting to know my clients and their four legged friends so thought I'd share a little bit about me

About last weekend 😍🥰 well pet sitting in the lakes was the last thing I thought I'd be doing on my weekend off! I am so happy Neal asked me to come along for the journey, me and Phoebe had a great time! Explored Coniston, Ambleside and Bowness. Phoebe took her first ever ride on public transport and did so well. She also had her first kayak session and loved it! Phoebe is just the sweetest pooch, and so so beautiful! Her smile and waggy tail brightens anybody's day. To anyone who wants a travelling/take your pet nanny on holiday, I am your gal! 😊😆 More trips like this please 🐾💚

A very very sad day, our family cat Fudge, king of the garden, ray of sunshine and our very own tiger crossed over the rainbow bridge today ✨ 1/11/2009 - 29/07/2024 🌈 We got you from rescue as a kitten with your sister Lucy and loved you both lots from that day. Sally and I would come home from school and play and cuddle with you both all night. You will be missed so much, love you always our beautiful ginger boy 😥🐾💚

Last weekend was my first stay with Mia and Harvey 💚 We had a very relaxing weekend, hiding from the rain on Saturday and basking in the sunshine Sunday morning before I left. I visited the house a few times before the stay for Mia to get used to me. Harvey is blind and sooo cuddly, he was up for a fuss and enjoyed sleeping on my lap as soon as I arrived. Sophie the cat stayed with me upstairs in the bedroom, such a petite cat with a loud purr 😻 thank you for a great first stay, hope to see you all again 🐾

Welcome Rocky! 😍 I'll be seeing this lovable pooch as and when his owners need me. So far we had a lovely walk and a cuddle Saturday, then came back to his yesterday for a midday comfort break while his paw-rents were out for the day. Looking forward to seeing you soon 🐾💚

I don't know about you, but I love border terriers! It was so lovely to stay with Winnie and Betty after taking them for a walk the other week. Whiskey the Irish terrier is a new addition and you wouldn't know he's only just arrived, he has settled very well into their home. A cheeky puppy who loves a cuddle too 😍 he's a great playmate for Winnie when Betty just wants some down time 😊 we had a great time walking through the fields and woodlands nearby, playing with their amazing selection of toys and plenty of afternoon snoozes! Looking forward to seeing these 3 soon 🐾💚

It was SO good to come back here. The kind of place I dream of owning. Me and the doggos enjoyed taking in the view, playing fetch and exploring the land. Very happy to give the horses carrots in the evening for a fuss, then letting the chickens in and out of their pens morning and night! CeCe attacked me with kisses 😂 and her mum Cara loved to catch the ball and enjoyed a good fuss too. Russ gets VIP treatment, he stays in the caravan with me so he has all the attention once the girls are back in their kennels for the night. 🐾💚

Meet Finn 🥹 a new addition for Oscar and his family. Last week's day sit was magic! This cutie already knows a few commands, we played with his toys, he took the longest nap to recharge his batteries, then he was his usual cheeky self again 😍 I cannot wait to spend more time with Finn and look forward to the day when I get to take both him and Oscar out together. 🐾💚

Meet Meg 🐾 She had a lot to say when I first walked in the house 😅 I sat on the sofa and soon enough Meg was pawing me for a fuss. We had a lovely walk, play in the garden and cwtch on the sofa. I'll be seeing this pretty gal as and when her owners need me. 💚

I've been waiting to share this with you on a post, my certificate arrived ☺️ been reflecting on this day and if you own a dog, or work with dogs I highly recommend this day with Gwen, her family and beautiful assistants Wilma and Fern. Knowledge is power and though I hope it never gets to the point of needing these new skills, I now have great knowledge of what to do in any first aid situation. Thank you again for guiding us through the day 🐾💚

A highlight of this week's walks. So many gorgeous and well behaved doggos 😍 I'm such a lucky pet nanny!
It's been a hot one this week; I've shortened my walks, kept them hydrated and kept to shady, grassy places the best that I can. Thank you to you wonderful owners who trust me with your beloved pets, I am so blessed to have lovely customers and feeling very grateful after a busy week ☺️🐾💚

Meet Winnie and Betty. Saturday I got to take these pretty gals out for a walk while their paw-rents were out collecting their new puppy!! 😍🥰
Aren't border terriers adorable?! Their little quirks, Winnie loves to play, Betty's senior now so she just loves a cuddle. They are surrounded by lots of fields so we enjoyed exploring them. I'll be pet sitting these two and their little brother (Whiskey) in the near future and I'm very excited about it. See you soon! 🐾💚

Meet Buddy! This beautiful Hungarian Vizla is such a good boy. It's been a pleasure to walk this pooch the last 2 weeks helping his paw-rents out while they're on holiday.

Buddy's nan has been staying with him, so he hasn't been alone but as she's been working most days of the week I've been asked to let him out for an hour's walk. He was so good on the lead, waiting to cross roads and junctions. Such a sweet boy. Hope to see you again in the future Buddy 🐾☺️💚

Meet Hagrid! He's a cross between a great Dane and a wolfhound and he's absolutely gorgeous. I love big dogs, and these hounds are the most gentle souls I've met. I had the pleasure of spending an afternoon with Hagrid. We went on two lovely walks, sunbathed in the garden and enjoyed a granny nap on the sofa. Not sure when I'll get to see this doggo next, but my fingers and toes are crossed for soon 🐾💚

Last week's stay; 13 chihuahuas! 😍🥰 What an experience this was. They're all show dogs, had their own pens to sleep in, named (thankfully) and each of them knew which pen to go into which also helped massively. I certainly fell in love with these little cutie pies. They're so snuggly! We woke up early morning, they were let out for a comfort break in their own outside run. They all went back into their pens ready for breakfast to be served by moi! During the day they had the run of the living room and another outside space, the 3 pups were fed midday, everyone at 4pm then the pups had their final feed between 8-9pm. Hope to see you all again in the future 🐾💚

A year ago today, my first walk and my first photo taken as Pawsome Pet Nanny. I can't begin to explain how amazing it feels to have created this business and what it's done for me in the last year. I have met so many incredible human beans and their gorgeous pets a long the way 😍🥰 To everyone that has supported in anyway that they can, thank you! My heart is so full after this weekend's stay! It was great to see Taran again, the weather was absolutely beautiful! We walked around the village, explored the local forestry, practised his tricks and enjoyed many cuddles. See you in a few weeks Taran 🐾💚

Everyone... Meet Reggie 😍 he's a frisbee fanatic! I've been asked to pet sit for this doggo sometime in the future but he can take a little while to warm up to people. After our first initial meet and greet, we decided it'd be best to walk Reggie for him to get to know me. Last week was our first stroll with his paw-rent and that went so well! Today we were left to it and enjoyed a gorgeous walk near his. Looking forward to spending more time with Reggie before our stays! If you have a nervous dog, there are always options and solutions to ease them into a pet stay or walks. Friday night I sat with Valentine while her pawrents were out dancing 💃 I haven't seen this beauty since winter last year so it was a treat to spend the evening with Val cosying up by the fire. I let her out for a comfort break too in their pretty garden. Hope to see you again soon 🐾💚

Still buzzing from yesterday! A huge thank you to Jules and Martin at Woofterz DOG Grooming for allowing me to help out and the ladies who left their salons to help make yesterday a success; Debbie Noah at Dazzles Academy Dog grooming Wrexham, Sian at Barks and Bubbles in Welshpool, Ceri at Nose to toes in Welshpool and Gina at Sud Woofer Wrexham. To all the clients, people who popped by to enjoy a cuppa, buy raffle tickets and to all the gorgeous doggos that enjoyed a wash and vet check from Sarah at Aran Vet Centre Llanfyllin, Thank You! We raised close to £800!! Which is an incredible amount. This will go towards purchasing the much loved Cae Bodfach field. 🐾💚 ☺️
