My weekend with these very sweet girls, Rwbi and Willow. They absolutely loved snoozing and made sure their job as neighbourhood watch was taken very seriously! 😂 Me and Rwbi enjoyed lovely long walks all around; fields, down lanes and through the town. Willow is happy to do a loop around the block and get back to her comfort place. Willow also loves to wait at the top of the stairs for you to throw the ball and she'll chase it back down. Never a dull moment with these two, I'll be seeing them again in just over a week! 🐾💚

I had some very sad news the other day. Boo bear passed over the rainbow bridge 🌈✨ The day I arrived at his house to meet and greet all the wonderful animals, I was told 'less is more' with Boo. I will never forget my first stay, I think it was day 2 and I knew I was accepted into the pack, Boo welcomed me as his own. It was an honour to be his pet nanny, we absolutely loved long walks to Lake Vyrnwy, or around the forestry, dipping in puddles. He loved racing me to bed to make sure he got all the room before I could have a chance, complained when I stopped fussing with him or told me when he had had enough.
Considering he wasn't well in August when I last sat with him, I sang to him and made sure he was comfortable thinking he was ready to go, he powered on for a few more months and got to experience so many days out and special times with his family before he decided it was his time to go. I'm going to miss my floofy boy! I'd like to thank the family for allowing me the opportunity of being Boo's pet sitter and send my condolences and love to them 💕

Checking out and getting in holiday mode for this weekend. I'm very much looking forward to getting boggy up North with my bestie in Yorkshire, making the most of my camper before the end of the year. This was such a wonderful stay over the summer! I don't have favourites, but if I imagine what I'd like my future to look like, this stay is very close to it! 🥰 I absolutely love getting up with the sun, attending to all the animals, going through my list duties and doing the same in the evening as the sun goes down. The doggos love a good walk and lots of fuss. The cat's purrs in this house are amazing, they also like to cuddle up to me, Darcy, Dottie and Basil and will even join us on our morning and evening strolls! 🐾💚

Due to a client unable to take holidays during term time, I now have this week available for pet sitting.

I'm also no longer having my week off at the end of October due to changing dates for the client to have their holiday during half term, so to my regular walks I will be dog walking as normal from Tuesday 29th October 2024.

For 2025 there will be limited availability. I had a huge realisation this year that I'm human and not a machine 😅🤣 3 weeks holiday and the odd day here and there were not enough for me to take time for myself.
With that in mind, I'm going to be home one week a month (I will still be dog walking and offering pop in visits during the day) that same weekend I will not be working, so no dog walks or pet sitting one weekend a month.

So far the only definite holiday is my birthday 🥳

Today is my last official day as a cleaner at Llanfechain Primary School
If you'd ask me a year ago when I was searching for part time jobs that it would only take this long to build my pet sitting business to the point it's got to already?! I would have laughed and said absolutely not!

I always say thank you as if I'm standing on stage at the Oscars, I'm not sure how else to express my gratitude. I cannot thank you enough for supporting me, for believing in me and for using my services.

I'm certainly not there and have made mistakes along the way, but definitely amazed at how good this chapter of my life is going. I may make it look fluffy, but owning your own business means you are just constantly learning and adapting most days. It's hard work! 😅

In addition to leaving the school, I am NO LONGER accepting new clients for dog walking or pet sitting. I am fully booked for the rest of the year with only a few days here and there for me to stay in my own house 😂

You are all so wonderful, I've really built some amazing connections and hope it only gets better from here.

This post is longer than I thought it would be so I'm going to write another one about holidays and availability for next year because a few months of it are already fully booked. I'd like to give my regulars a chance to get your holiday dates in. Hence why I won't be accepting any new clients for the foreseeable.

Stan and Ned, a weekend stay that was exactly what the doctor ordered! The cuddles from Ned 💚 and Stan, bless him an old soul he happily joined us on walks, even shuffled up on the sofa for a fuss which (Apparently) is rare. Such a short but very sweet stay, they showed me the surrounding fields and stunning views around the house. I took Ned out for Sunday lunch and he's an absolute delight in the car and such a good boy while I was eating. Fingers crossed I get to see these two again 🐾☺️💚

Such a fun day with this little monkey, Finn. It's a great time to get puppies used to being handled as soon as possible. I spent a little time looking at his paws, in his ears and his teeth, while talking to him and rewarding him after. It doesn't have to last long, but if it means they could have a better experience at the vets, when going in for their annual check ups, it's worth it.
