Yesterday was a bit of a special day for me and our board dog Boe. 💛

A few times a year I do partake in a bit of driven shooting with my dad and his friends, which means traveling to the most stunning places.

With the permission of Boes owner I was able to take him with me and explore the stunning Tomatin in the Highlands.

I love that a board dog can fall into my life routine and enjoy the places I do too, the scenery was awesome and what a cracking day ☀️😍. Boe certainly had the most amazing day and he's very lucky, as am I to board such an amazing Labrador 💛

🐕 Couldn't ask for better weather for boarding dogs on our farm. I didn't have to walk far for Boe to play in his favourite spot. 🐾

🐾 Look at my wee old man blue go!! He had me fooled 😅 look at him running 😭🐕..... We get a wee run out of him everyday now and he's loving the farm. No bad for a 13 year old, 74 in dog years

🐾 He's been joined by our wee regular day boarder toffee the collie and what good pals they become....

🐾 2 family dogs in this week and what a blast they had this afternoon running their back legs off. I was soaking, they were soaking but was awesome to watch....

Hopefully some dry days ahead, they were in a bit of a mess when they were done 🌧️🟤

🐾Another trial sleepover for big Bertie....

🐾A sleepover can be essential for a dog who maybe doesn't like a change in routine or finds new places hard to adapt to. Sometimes more than one sleepover is needed to assess. The dog and the farm are always my top priority.

🚜 A working farm is a lot to take in for dogs who may be slightly anxious or never been around this kind of environment, hence why meet and greets are essential initially then possibly a sleepover to learn a bit more about the dog 🐶

🐾 All enquiries welcome for home boarding. Meet and greets are a must to make sure your 4 legged friend is suitable for a working farm 🐄 🐏 🚜 This environment may not be suitable for all dogs....

Had a lovely walk around one of our fields with Harris this afternoon..... Even if there is 60mph winds 🍃💨

⭐ Happy to now say we are Fife council licensed ⭐⭐⭐

It's been a bit of a journey, I've been working closely with Fife council for the last 6 weeks to make our garden safe and secure without spoiling the views and openness that our land has to offer and it hasn't been easy....But it's done.

Absolutely delighted I now have the license that every dog boarder should have in place meaning I am fully insured too...... Please do your homework when considering a boarder or even starting a boarding business, that a fife council license is in place as this may mean the boarders insurance won't be valid should anything happen to a dog 🐕

License holders can be found on the Fife council website before you decide to book with a boarder.

🐾 Her favourite walk on the farm's doorstep.... Harelaw cairn. Never noticed the sign before so thanks to whoever put that there.

Finally her turn to have a wee wander on the farm and take in all the smells and noises. 🐾

🐾 She did absolutely amazing on her walk today, her recall was tested and on point 👌 she then was released and as you can see was super happy..... 🐾

🐄 A wee preboard visit for Frankie....... Just to see how he gets on and if he can board with us in the future.🐑

Said hello to the livestock, not a woof or a bit of anxiety in sight, let a massive tractor drive past him with no issues, had a stroll over the field, then a play in the garden. All the qualities that are important for this kind of boarding so if they do board or have day visits, it's calm, fun and no issues with livestock or farmland.

🐾 A successful walk....Everything a dog could wish for 🐶🐾

These 2 have loved patrolling our garden....

They've spent a lot of time outside coming and going as they please. The weather has been kind but according to the farming family that's all about to change and I'm going to have to pull the waterproofs out.

This week's offerings is a 4 month old toy poodle pup Zoe 🐻 and Lola the 10 year old little old lady, lhasa poo.

Lots of socialisation for the pup, opening her up to everything, sounds, smells and animals.

They've had a wee wander around the farm and into one of our huge fields, didn't make it quite all the way round as they are little but they loved it. Lola prefers the garden 🏡 🧓

With permission from the farmer (husband, in-laws) they had a freshly cut silage field to play in, obviously not allowing poops in here as it's poisonous to cows, this is their winter feeding this also includes crop fields (which I would never take a dog in)...... Please don't let your dogs do it as the farmer will go nuts🫣👊 I'm just privileged and slightly educated 🤣

Another cracking day for Boe and Rhu 🤎🖤💛

The more fun they have the more they want from me 🤣 always wanting outside, always wanting treats and always wanting to sniff the air 😌

Even bumped into the The Crazy Dog Lady up the top of the farm and tried our hardest to get a picture.... Was a bit of a riot to say the least 🫣

Chalk and cheese here at the farmland canine retreat but what a pair and both are having a blast...... Rhu tried his hardest to keep up with Boe in the field 🤣

Forgot to take the balls and both looked at me like I was off my head with no ball when I let them loose in the field, I shall do better next time 🏀 🫣

Morning everyone

🖤 Axels last full day here at the farm. So far he's had his morning walk, followed by breakfast outside, then he had his daily communication with the calves, then a massive stint of zoomies in the garden. Now lying down chilling as he's tired himself out (and me)🤣

🖤 Will see what the temp is like this afternoon, maybe take him to the river for a splash to cool off 🌊.

🖤 Axel 🖤 Spent most of the day in the garden, watching sheep and cows. Showing signs he's happy and content...... He's been an absolute star ⭐

🩶 Axel had his wander through the cow shed today and he did amazing 👏👏 obviously some dogs may not want to part take in such activities but I like to try and socialise a wee bit if they may wish to return 🖤🐾 We then we headed off to a soaking wet field to play ball 🏀🌧️ What a lovely boy he is, settled amazing but is also taking advantage of me and the farm by wanting extra walks 🤣
