We are so very sorry for your loss and extremely grateful for thinking of us as such a difficult time.

Andy - it was truly lovely to chat with you yesterday and we wish you well, thank you so much. 🐈‍⬛💓

🐾 HOW TO RECOGNISE A CAT IN GENUINE NEED OF YOUR HELP 🐾

At this time of year most of us are out enjoying our gardens and the nice weather. As such we often spot passing animals we haven't seen before. Some cats typically belong to a neighbour or even a house a couple of streets away. A cat out chancing its luck for food and treats thats came to say hello! 🐈‍⬛

However, do you REALLY know how to recognise the cats that need intervention? If not, have a wee read of our handy detailed guide linked below.

❗️REMEMBER ❗️

Don't feed cats that just pass through your garden. Doing so encourages them away from their own homes adding to the stray problem and causing heartbreak for owners. Not to mention if the cat is on a special diet or has allergies you could make the cat very sick.

Please, only feed GENUINE stray cats as identified in our handy guide and illustrated in our picture below. Thank you 🐾🐈‍⬛

🐾🐾 Contact 🐾🐾

Phone lines will be back from tomorrow though we have still had the odd intermittent issue. We would like to take the opportunity to remind everyone that we do NOT have a dedicated office or staff and calls are often answered, where possible, while Paul is on the move, so it is not always possible for him to answer.

Currently, if you cannot reach us by phone, enquiries should be directed by messaging this page. We are still working through a huge backlog of messages and will answer as soon as we can.

If you have left a voicemail we are working our way through those and will respond to those we can assist with. Due to the volume of messages we sadly cannot reply to all. We work hard to do as much as we can whilst running the rescue around our family's daily life.

Should you still require a reply and have not heard from us, please do drop us a message to the page.

Thank you for your patience.

Beat the Heat....

As we continue with this lovely, but very hot weather, here are our top tips to help keep your kitty cool.

🐾 Try to keep your cat indoors at the hottest part of the day.
🐾 Always make sure clean, fresh drinking water is available
🐾 Pet cooling mats can work well, or try a damp towel. They also love tiled floors.
🐾 Allow your cat shaded areas to lie (though we know they always chase sun puddles)
🐾 Encourage them to drink, perhaps with a water fountain if you have one.

Top Tip!

If your cat insists on going outdoors and has white or light colouring on their face, do consider using a pet safe sunscreen on their nose and ears to prevent irreversible skin damage.

Evening folks, just a quick note to say thank you for your patience while we were closed due to a close family bereavement.

We are getting through messages and emails this week and are working through them as fast as possible but please bear in mind we have an enormous load to get through, so we ask that you please be patient.

If you have not heard back from us by next week, do feel free to drop us a message here. Thank you. 🐈‍⬛

12/06/2025

Please note we will now be closed until the 7th /8th of July and unable to assist with requests for assistance during this time.

We will pick up messages when we reopen. 🐈‍⬛
