I want to introduce myself and explain why I wanted to set up my business. My name is Jennifer and I have always had love and passion for all animals from cats and dogs to exotic animals. My parents could see the love and dedication I had for all animals and allowed me to have my own pets which included dogs, cats, hamsters, snails, lizards and a snake. I learnt from a young age how important love

and knowledge is when caring for animals. Once I finished school I went to college to study animal care and then university to study animal behaviour and welfare. Once I completed my studies I travelled to Australia for six months to volunteer doing conservation work. I also self funded trips to America and Africa to care for chimpanzees. My fascination grew so I decided to work with great apes at a zoo. I have also worked at an animal shelter for four years which taught me the importance of familiarity, security, routine, love and patients all animals need. Moving to Scotland enabled me to work at two different wildlife centres as a wildlife assistant, which I absolutely loved and learnt a great deal in the process. From previous experience I know how gut wrenching it can be when you have to leave your pet for long hours, needs more exercise or you want to go on holiday and not have the constant worry your pet is missing home. Or do you want your pet to be part of your wedding day! You can hire me to take care of all your pets needs while you enjoy your big day and they can be in the all important wedding pictures, because as you know pets are part of the family. When I care for your pet they will be treated like family, so you can go on holiday, day trip, work or a weekend away guilt free. For many years I have always been the first point of call for friends, family and local acquaintances to care for their pets during times of need and I have enjoyed it so much, I have decided to make quality pet care a career having seen how much more relaxed and appreciative both owners and owners alike with having an experienced, reliable and dedicated career.
