I am constantly on the go never stops here . And recently the amount of time wasters that take up lots of my time in messages calls and wanting pictures and videos has been higher then ever . Please do not message me unless one hundred percent certain you are ready for a new family member and the full family agree. If I could get the time back wasted I would have so much more done around the place .

Most ppl will know i normaly retire our dogs from the kennels to the house but due to me having some very old fragile girls in the house I be looking for homes for some dogs that have retired and need a sofa to retire on instead of a kennel . This is not a easy decision for some of the dogs as I am very attached to them . But any one looking for a older dog please drop me a pm there will be a rehoming fee and I will insist they come back to me if it does not work out either pm or a call on 07889798986

So old toll dogs got scammed last week loosing all our savings . We wanted to open a pet shop offering every thing u need for a new puppy unfortunately it was a scam so all old tolll dogs savings are gone we tried every way possible to get it back but we carnt so many scammers out there be safe guys xx

So I thought I would give ppl a little info to how old toll dogs began .
I am originally from Whitehaven Cumbria were I was a kennel club assured breeder and dog groomer working from my home. I have bred dogs since I was 20 so for 27 years now . I was living on a small village with my long term partner . We took a lot of verbal abuse from our neighbours for many years because of our sexuality . So after 8 years together we decided to look for some were new to live . Originally looking locally so I could just move my grooming with me . My partner found old toll cottage and after lots of discussions decided to go for it in Scotland . The cottage wasn’t really habitable but the land for the dogs was amazing . 8 years on still renovating . I lived here for 3years on my own trying to build a grooming Buisness as my partner only came at weekends due to working still in Cumbria so I was basically here with very little income as I was starting from scratch . 3 years in still building a Buisness Covid hit my partner was based at home then but over 2 years and after 3 years living separately it didn’t work and we separated . By this point I had built a bigger better Buisness with the dogs so we decided I would buy him out of the cottage as moving the Buisness and dogs again would be very difficult . By this point after lots of renovating the cottage value had tripled in value I had to buy him out by quite a lot so I become very low and scared me and the dogs would loose our home as the agreement was I had two years to do this . So for the last few years I have worked extremely hard to achieve this and now with my new partner who is fantastic working full time and working as a joint partner with the dogs we have finally secured our home with a bit of a remortgage on top . We are still working hard to now clear the debt of a very high mortgage and lots of credit we had to get the cottage finally finished . Our last day off was when a good friend stayed and looked after the dogs so we could do our Xmas shopping in Glasgow in December 2023 . We work 6 am to 10pm every day and very tired a lot of the time but we love what we do . We are hoping by expanding into the boarding kennels next year we can cut back on breeding and be able to afford some part time staff and maybe get a bit of a life again . So any one who thinks wow I would love his job it’s not for the faint hearted . It’s 24 hours some time as most dogs like to give birth through the night and we sit with them through it all to make sure there all good and healthy including mum . Then we have weeks of lack of sleep as there normally in our bedroom squeaking all night until there in the safe zone a few weeks old . We do our very best for our dogs if they need it they get it . We have fantastic friends and family who help out all the time and carnt thank them enough we slso have a fantastic team of vets at atk vets Lockerbie there amazing with us and the dogs . . On top of us being very very busy this year I had the joys of a lovely person reporting me to environmental health and trading standards as she did not like the fact I would not allow her to come to my home and view my dogs welping area etc . For one this is not a petting zoo and two I do not want my mums stressed out with strangers invading there space. Three my insurance would not allow it I don’t know how a boarding dog would react to strangers around . The out come of that visit was great we were asked to join Dumfries and Galloway trusted traders so something good came out of it and a clean bill of no concerns with my animals a wee suggestion was I needed to get my sheep’s ear tags in lol . That’s now done . I am pretty much an open book when ppl visit us so any one is welcome to ask me any thing . I want to also thank every one who uses the grooming salon and boarding kennels for there continued support and every one who has bought a puppy from us for trusting us to provide your new family dog or cat . We will continue to work hard and provide the best services we can and of course happy health pup .
