Remember to teach 💕Don’t just put an empty toy down in front of your dog and expect them to engage, or know what it is… 🤪 build up the game in stages e.g. first off - keep it super smelly and simple!(Smear something amazing around the openings. Kibble / treat mix falls out really easily for the first few times.)

D is for dog, of course, among other things… 🤭
There is a certain type of dog guardian to be on the look out for…

Don’t teach manners!
Insist on having off lead!
Can’t recall their dog!
Keeps running up to other dogs!

🐕 These poor dogs are prime candidates for ‘friendly dogs’ that become ‘I need space dogs’.

🐕 Poorly managed interactions can result in a negative experience for your dog.

🐕 Keep an eye out and know when to just get out of dodge. If you’d like some help and techniques for how to do this just get in touch.
