❤Success story to share❤

❤We are delighted to be able to share with you some recent feedback received from our completed course evaluation forms in October. This feedback was received from pawparents who attended Puppy School classes with Puppy School Associate Tutor El at Adventure Paws Training and Puppy School Wimbledon. What a brilliant start to 2022. Two full class last night. We learnt how to understand our puppies body language along with everything else you need to know and some super fun 12 waggy tails and happy owners went home after. Well done Toby, Sunny, Milo, Bamboo, Aella, Reggie, Pippa, Bill, Skye, Garnet, and Wellie you trained your humans well! Can’t wait for next week! Meet Cici. Wonderful 14 and a half year old girl. We spend a lot of time training and boosting the confidence of our young dogs as they’re harder to handle but it’s soooo important to keep our happy. They might not be able to run around but giving them different tastes and textures in their food can keep life exciting for them. Massages and sniffing games make them happy. They will live longer as their mother muscles won’t fade away. They need all the love

Helping kids and dogs to understand each other forms the most amazing bond. This is Fox and his best chihuahua billy. Loving life together. At first billy found fox a bit scary but Fox was amazing at being calm and still and letting that bond cement for their life long friendship

A few weeks ago this gorgeous asked his humans to book a training session with me around large animals. It’s lovely to see photos of her being so calm. She still has some work to do when staying on the farm and also wants to learn to fly…….(last photo) but otherwise was such a happy funny good girl on her holidays. Such a pleasure to work with the family

Older dogs often get stiffer than when they were younger. They get joint pain just like us but still love life. is a wonderful way to take some weight off those 4 paws, especially when like Chloe here they love a swim. Chloe (14 and a half) would find indoor pools very stressful but she loves a river so I had the pleasure of helping her with her swimming. Make sure you towel them off properly after and provide somewhere warm to snooze the evening away as cold wet dogs get cold wet joints.

How to enjoy a walk

For many dogs walks are like reading a book or watching a film. Walking slowly and allowing them to sniff helps them to take in their surroundings in their own time, keeping them calm. Allowing them to choose where they sniff means when I recall they always come back. Take it slow, allow your dog time, look for nice soft body posture, congratulate for checking in with me
