It’s important to keep your pet hydrated all year round as it delivers lots of benefits to your pets health, but especially during the warmer months. Cats and dogs both sweat through their paw pads, so as they’ll do this more now it’s hot, they will need to be provided with more fresh water. 💧

Blue-green algae usually builds up during warmer weather, when there is less rainfall. It can be highly toxic to your pets and cause long-term health conditions. Read our advice on how to spot the symptoms, and if your pet comes into contact with blue-green algae speak to your vet.

We are feeling honoured to have been nominated for Veterinary Practice of the year 2021 🎉🥳🎈 And congratulations to our wonderful, extremely dedicated Head Nurse Debbie also who thoroughly deserves her nomination 💛 After a tough 12 months working every day on the front line throughout the pandemic to service our clients and pets, we feel grateful to be recognised and to have something good to celebrate. Kibeth the Cockapoo bought her 7 beautiful puppies in to see us this morning for their first vaccinations and microchips 😍 We have the best job! They were all so lovely and healthy. The excitement was all too much and they left happy and snoozing 💤💞

We are now back to our normal opening times and look forward to seeing you and your furry friends in 2021. Please bear in mind however with the new COVID issues, we are operating with staff shortages and have measures and restrictions in place to reduce staff contact with customers and minimise the spread of COVID. Please be patient, kind and bear with us with this in mind.
