The command LEAVE IT and "thug war" are essentials for high-prey drive breeds. I came across dog owners which had been told by past trainers to never play thug-war, muzzle their dogs, and so on because their dogs was a strong one and to get control they had to stop these activities. Not letting your dog doing these activities most likely will cause behavioural issues, is like asking us to not breathe, Would you be happy?!
Training your dog is a hard work, but the effort will pay back, never give up on them. Do not shut down their natural instincts, learn to work alongside with them, understand your dog needs, go wild with them! Energies never lies, go with the wild flow but under control!

One of the common mistake us as owners are doing is not teaching commands in movement, on a long distance and with triggers around. So many times I met owners proclaming their dogs perfect on commands and at the end their dogs only know the commands in front of them and/or at home. Teaching long distance commands can save ur and ur dog life, keep in mind!
