Many people ask how I keep pets still for their acupuncture treatment.
The answer is, most pets find acupuncture treatment relaxing, and many take the chance to have a good rest during the treatment.
It is normal for pets to feel more relaxed after the session and have a very good sleep that night. Feeling bright and more comfortable & mobile the next day!

Why should we care about orangutans and what has led to them becoming endangered?
Here are some orangutan facts:
🦧Orangutans share 97% of our DNA
🦧The Bornean and Sumatran are critically endangered
🦧 Female orangutans only give birth once every 3-5 years, so it takes the species a long time to recover from population loss
🦧 Palm oil is estimated to being present in 50% of house hold products, including cleaning and beauty products and food
🦧 The largest issues causing orangutans endangered status is deforestation, palm oil plantations and the illegal wildlife trade

Hip dysplasia in dogs causes hind limb pain and weakness. Riley (AKA Raghallach) was diagnosed with hip dysplasia when she was 6 months old. This affected her mobility and personality due to pain. Riley has shown a steady improvement with her comfort and movement since starting acupuncture treatment. Her pain relief medication has been reduced gradually and she is enjoying her walks more and playing like a puppy. We measured her progress with a pain score system designed by Liverpool University (LOAD). Her score reduced from 18 to 2, after four months of acupuncture treatment. This is an improvement of joint disease presence and severity from moderate (score range 11-20) to mild (0-10). What symptoms should I look out for that could indicate hip dysplasia? Symptoms of hip dysplasia include: * Decreased activity * Decreased range of motion * Difficulty or reluctance rising, jumping, running, or climbing stairs * Lameness in the hind end * Swaying, sometimes with a “bunny hopping” gait * Loss of thigh muscle mass * Pain * Stiffness Do you have questions about hip dysplasia?
