This is one of my favourite lines I learned from Tyler Muto and it has stuck with me. Many people will tell you “stop treating your dog like a child or fur baby”... but hear me out on this one. As parents we give our children rules, boundaries, schedules, discipline, education, extra curricular activities, healthy food, proper sleep routines etc. However, many people DO NOT do this for their dogs. If more people treated their dogs like children we’d have better behaved dogs. Instead people treat dogs like babies without any of the “parenting”. So yes, please treat your dogs more like you would a child/teenager and see how quickly they can blossom into your dream dog!!
