This is Peanut, he went missing for two days and came back with his left eye popped out and crusted over. We did an enucleation (the removal of the eye from the orbit) and he now is a little pirate hamster but happily recovering ❤️‍🩹

Every 3 months, Wolfe Vets trains the entire team. This is incredibly rare in private practice. This is Caroline, she was a lecturer in anaesthesia before joining Wolfe Vets. Here she is running a revision session on continuous rate medicine deliver systems, we commonly use these to make anaesthetics safer and provide really accurate pain relief for patients after surgery. 😉

It’s National Pet ID Week from 17th to 23rd April. Recently, Dogs and Cats Home found, in their latest microchip survey, that over 70% of lost dogs with a microchip did not have up-to-date information, meaning they could not be easily reunited with their families if they got lost. Therefore, keeping your dog’s microchip details up to date is one of the best ways to keep them safe.

So how do you make sure your microchip information is up to date? Firstly, you need to know your dog’s microchip number and the company the chip is registered with (HomeAgain, PetLog, PetTrac, Identibase, etc.). Then, you need to contact your microchip company online or by phone to check your details.

If you don’t know which company you are registered with, you can search their microchip number on any company’s website, and it will tell you where the chip is registered.

If you don’t know your microchip number, please give us a call or come in, we should have it on file and if we don’t, we can of course scan your fur baby in reception. We hope this is helpful and little reminder to do that dreaded life admin 🥴If you have any questions, please feel free to get in touch 🐶

This is Pacha, the poor bubs was attacked by another dog in the park, resulting in his ear being torn 😪

He came down to Wolfe Vets Fulham, where Roshni saw him straight away and then operated on him. The team then showered him with ALL the love and cuddles ❤️

Pacha is now on the road to recovery and as you can see looking as handsome as ever ❤️ Sending you so much love bubs 😘

A little Musk Turtle has been handed into our Chiswick branch, found at Chiswick business park Unsure of s*x or age, this aquatic turtle is in good health and pretty lively. We are looking for someone experienced with Musk Turtles to re-home or for someone to transport to a center out of London (confirming locations asap)

We are thrilled to announce, that starting on April 1st 2024, Wolfe Vets Fulham, will be operating 24/7 to provide hospital, emergency & critical care. This means that a dedicated team of vets and nurses will be available on-site around the clock. Just like A&E for humans, we will be here for you and your pets when your regular GP vet is not available.

You do not have to be a registered client to access this service, emergencies need swift attention. We are here for you when you need us.

This is Minnie, she came into Fulham a few days ago for surgery, she was getting skin infections consistently around her lip folds due to excess gum and skin around her mouth.

It can be somewhat managed with creams and regular washing, but a repeated cycle of infections means surgery is the next option.

Here are progress pictures pre op, intra-op and post op. We hope, after having removed the excess skin, she doesn’t get reoccurring infections anymore and is much more comfortable!

Puppies incoming!! The cutest of the cuties, 8 week old Sproker Puppies were in to see Dr Fei yesterday for their first Vaccines and microchips. Safe to say they brightened up everyones day tenfold ❤️
