👉 Because we’re still early, I use markers to give her clear info.

👉 Her markers are:

GOOD = keep going, reward coming 🏆

YES/ YEP = task complete, get your reward 🎉

FREEDOG = you’re free to do what you want 🐾

AH-AH = correction 🚫

NO/ NOPE = wrong answer, try again 🔁

Here, I should’ve said GOOD to keep her in behavior. Instead, I said YEAH—and she instantly thought it was time to grab the sleeve. Totally my mistake, not hers!
What’s awesome is that she showed great understanding:

✅ She reacted to my marker exactly as trained.
✅ She read the decoy perfectly—no sleeve presentation, no real bite opportunity.
✅ And she went right back into her bark & hold, smooth and confident.”
