Meet Okra, our newest member of the Octopus Obsessed Club and the golden Labrador queen of festive excitement. 🎄🐙💛

Her hooman brought home an early Christmas surprise… and the moment that octopus peeked out, Okra ditched her current fave without a second thought. That little wriggly bum, the wiggle-wag tail, the full-body excitement — we were not emotionally prepared.

Freddie popped in for his groom and honestly… just LOOK at him. Sparkling from head to tail and rocking his festive bow tie like he’s off to a Christmas gala. 🎄🎀

We love it when Freddie comes in — he always bounces through the door like he’s been counting down the minutes to his spa day. Straight into the bath, loving the blow dry, smiling his way through his trim… he takes the whole thing in his stride like the professional handsome boy he is. 😂

He left looking fresh, fluffy, festive and far too cute for his own good. Freddie, you absolute superstar — we adore seeing you!

📣🐶 WHEN THE BUDGET DROPS… THE CHEWING STARTS!

Just when our parody Keir Starmer dog toy thought he could enjoy some downtime, yesterday’s Budget arrived — complete with fiscal rules tighter than a whippet in a wetsuit and tax hikes that made half the country reach for a biscuit.

And then, of course… Rachel Reeves.
Cool. Calm. Collected.
Delivering numbers so big, even the dogs on Tooting Common paused mid-sniff like:
“Sorry… how much??”

Because if there’s one universal truth:
Every dog owner in Britain has now officially chewed more than their dog after hearing that Budget.

Meanwhile, our squeaky PM doesn’t get a break:
He’s got his silver quiff, his lawyer suit, those rosy cheeks —
and two squeakers (one in the head, one in the tummy)
…which feels a little symbolic after this week.

The big question:

Has the Budget made Chew Toy Keir…
🔹 More chewable?
🔹 Less loveable?
🔹 Or now the nation’s unofficial “stress relief” toy for dog owners everywhere?

One thing’s for sure:
Keir might run the country, but Rachel Reeves runs the nation’s blood pressure.
