🖤 Happy New Year’s Eve 🖤

What a year 2025 has been.
Busy, emotional, joyful, challenging — and incredibly special.

To our loyal customers who have believed in us from the start, and to the many new faces who walked through our door this year — thank you. Thank you for trusting us, for supporting independent, and for believing in what we do.

We only ever offer the very best.
And it means everything to be supported by people who know the difference. 🐾💛

This year also asked us to say goodbye to some truly beautiful dogs and pups who crossed the rainbow bridge, including our precious Frida, who will forever be part of the heart and soul of Balham Bark. You are missed more than words can say. 🌈

But 2025 also brought new beginnings.
New pups. New hoomans. New friendships.
A very big hello from our little Rita to all her new puppy pals from training, and from all of us to every new wagging tail that has already made this place feel like home.

So tonight, we pause.
We remember.
We say thank you.
Goodbye 2025.
And with hope, gratitude, and open arms…

Harry the Golden Retriever vs One Very Nervous Donald 🎅🍊

Meet Harry 🥳
Handsome. Festive.
And absolutely not finished yet.

Harry was gifted one of our Donald Trump parody dog toys from one of our very special customers (you must check them out 👀) and things escalated quickly.
First came the sniff.
Then the bite.
Then the full Christmas commitment to chewing.

At this point, Donald appears to be showing signs of fear.
Harry, meanwhile, has a huge grin on his face and zero intention of stopping. 😁🐶

Does Donald deserve it?
“HELL YEAH,” nearly everyone shouted.

This is not just chewing.
This is a birthday bashing, and the joy Harry got from it brought us all far too much festive pleasure.

So what is it about Trump that makes dogs everywhere want to chew him?
🍊 The orangeness?
💇‍♂️ The frizzy hair?
😏 The smug grin?

And the real question…
Who will win this fight?

(Hint: Harry’s still smiling.) 🎄🐾

🎄 Christmas Treat & Toy Royalty Alert 🎄

We had the absolute pleasure of seeing Freya and Hoshi today for their festive treat and toy visit, and honestly… our hearts are full. 🐾❤️

These two gorgeous girls are true gentle giants — calm, charming, full of charisma and with manners that could teach us all a thing or two. And let’s not ignore the excellent taste in chews and toys… clearly professionals in the field. 😉🦴🧸

Add in their lovely hoomans and you’ve got the full dream team. Moments like this remind us why we say it all the time — we really do have the best customers.

🎅 Merry Christmas to you all, Freya & Hoshi. We can’t wait to see you again in the New Year for more treats, toys and tail wags. 🐕

With just 4 days until Christmas, Mia’s hooman had a moment.

The pizzles ran out.
Panic set in.
A “quick substitute” was purchased elsewhere.
It was…
a mistake.

Mia knew immediately.
A polite sniff.
A look of disappointment.
No thank you.
