✨🐾 Opal & Pearl Are now looking for their Forever or foster Homes 🐾✨
We’re over the moon to share that our two precious sisters, Opal & Pearl, will hopefully be flying in a couple of weeks! Thanks to the incredible support and generosity of so many kind people, we’ve been able to raise the majority of their funds for their flights. Now, the next step is finding these sweethearts the loving families they truly deserve. ♥️
Both girls were rescued directly from the meat truck, and despite their heartbreaking past, they are gentle, affectionate, and full of love to give.
👑 Meet Opal & Pearl
• Opal is completely blind.
• We think Pearl is partially blind, though she still has some vision.
• Both are approx. 2–3 years old.
🐾 Their Personalities
Opal and Pearl are both gentle souls who get along well with other dogs and can happily live with older children who understand how to be kind and calm around them.
Blind dogs may need a little extra care, but they live happy, fulfilling lives with the right support. They rely on their other senses—especially smell and hearing—and adapt beautifully to consistent, loving environments. Once they learn the layout of a home, they can navigate with surprising confidence. They bond deeply with their humans, often becoming the most loyal and affectionate companions you could imagine.
🏡 The Homes They Need
These special girls are looking for families who can offer:
• A calm, safe, and stable home environment
• Patience and gentle guidance as they adapt
• Lots of love, reassurance, and cuddles
Although we would love to see Opal & Pearl go to the same home, it isn’t essential. The most important thing is that each finds the perfect forever family.
