Little Toffee here came in last week as her owners thought she had eaten some wood which had caused an obstruction. Thankfully we did x-rays on Toffee and saw no obstruction. When pets eat something they shouldnโ€™t it is known as foreign body ingestion.
Sometimes this can cause partial or complete obstruction depending on the item ingested, how much eaten and the size of the foreign body. Signs can include vomiting, lethargy and loss of appetite We are glad to report that Toffee is doing much better now and is happily recovering at home๐Ÿถ๐Ÿ’–

Itโ€™s not just dogs and cats that need dental treatment!

Our vet linda performed a dental on this little one recently, and as you can see, she was kept nice and warm whilst being syringe fed her recovery food when she woke up. Itโ€™s very important that bunnies are fed regularly and we were pleased that she ate well when she woke up โ˜บ๏ธ

We have also extended our Pet Smile Month offer into the end of January! So if you were too busy over Christmas to book in your pets FREE dental check, then you still have time!
