🌡️🐾 TO ALL PET LOVERS: A GENTLE PLEA IN THIS HEAT 🐾🌡️

It’s dangerously hot out there — please, don’t walk your dogs in this weather. If the pavement feels hot to your hand, it’s burning to their paws. It’s better to skip a walk than risk heatstroke or burned paws. A day lounging indoors won’t hurt them — but the heat can.

For our smaller furry friends — cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, etc. — make sure they’re in cool, shaded areas with good airflow and plenty of fresh water.
Even indoor pets can struggle in this kind of heat.

🐰 Rabbit Haemorrhagic Disease is a widespread, life-threatening virus ⚠️

Often called viral haemorrhagic disease, it is seen frequently in unvaccinated rabbits because it spreads quickly through direct and indirect contact with infected rabbits.

The best way to protect your pet is with regular vaccinations throughout their life. This not only protects them but also decreases the spread of disease.

If you have a pet rabbit and need to check if their vaccinations are up to date, or need to get them booked in, call the clinic and speak to a member of the team.

🌟 Say hello to Gordon! 🌟
Gordon a gorgeous Ragdoll kitten joined us for his kitten vaccine, microchip placement (he’s now a big 4 months old!), and a visit to our Kitten Club with Zana.

He’s incredibly affectionate, fully aware of just how cute he is — and clearly knows where the treats are hidden! 🐾💙
We couldn’t get enough of his perfect little toe socks 🧦… what a heart-melter! 😍

🐾 Velma's 11 Whippet Puppies Took Over the Clinic Yesterday! 🐾

We had a wonderful time when Velma's 11 adorable Whippet puppies came in for their health checks and vaccinations! 😍 These little bundles of energy were full of zoomies, running about and spreading chaos in the most adorable way. It’s safe to say they’ve fully mastered the art of melting hearts and causing mischief! ❤️🐶

Their little adventures definitely brightened up our day. They're now all set for a healthy, happy start in life! We think Velma might need a well-deserved rest after managing this whirlwind of tiny paws! 💖🐾

We tried to snap some pictures to share, but with all that whizzing about, it was definitely a challenge! 📸⚡️

💉 Chloe leads the way in anaesthesia and coaching our student nurses.
🦷 Kathy works exclusively in dentistry, ensuring patients leave happy and pain-free.
🐱 Emma is a surgical nursing enthusiast she has excellent suturing skills!
🐾 Charlie is our small furries and feline friendly advocate.
🐶 Ellie is our diagnostic imaging enthusiast, facilitating our specialist scan service.
💼 Zana keeps our clinics running smoothly and leads on nutrition and preventive care.
🩺 Meg brings organisation, enthusiasm and excellence as our newest RVN on the team.
🐶 Mia our co-operative care and cuddle club leader advocating for all our patients to have a fear free experience.
💉 Jess whom is very nearly qualified loves a good cuddle and is great at her anaesthesia skills.
💼 Dani our locum nurse has great organisational skills and fresh ideas, she has dived straight in to help us.
