🎉🐾 Happy Birthday, Loki! 🐾🎉

Loki, our vet Rachael’s dog, was in yesterday for a check on his leg wound after his recent mass removal — and we’re so pleased to say it’s healing really well! 💙 To help support the scar tissue while it heals, Loki is sporting a smart little brace when he’s out and about.

As it was his birthday, the whole team made sure he got extra cuddles 🥰 (not that he minded!) and of course, his favourite wet food for a tasty treat. 🐶🍲

We’re so proud of you, Loki — keep up the great healing! 💪💛

🎉 Go Barley! 🎉

Barley has officially reached his optimum weight – shedding an incredible 9kg! 🐾💪 Look at that slim waistline! 👀💛💅

Even better, his regular visits have helped him feel right at home here at the practice. Each time he comes in, his anxiety melts away a little more – now he walks in with far less worry and much more tail-wagging confidence. 🐶❤️

We are so proud of both Barley and his family for their dedication to his health and happiness. 🥰

🌡️🐾 TO ALL PET LOVERS: A GENTLE PLEA IN THIS HEAT 🐾🌡️

It’s dangerously hot out there — please, don’t walk your dogs in this weather. If the pavement feels hot to your hand, it’s burning to their paws. It’s better to skip a walk than risk heatstroke or burned paws. A day lounging indoors won’t hurt them — but the heat can.

For our smaller furry friends — cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, etc. — make sure they’re in cool, shaded areas with good airflow and plenty of fresh water.
Even indoor pets can struggle in this kind of heat.

🐰 Rabbit Haemorrhagic Disease is a widespread, life-threatening virus ⚠️

Often called viral haemorrhagic disease, it is seen frequently in unvaccinated rabbits because it spreads quickly through direct and indirect contact with infected rabbits.

The best way to protect your pet is with regular vaccinations throughout their life. This not only protects them but also decreases the spread of disease.

If you have a pet rabbit and need to check if their vaccinations are up to date, or need to get them booked in, call the clinic and speak to a member of the team.

🌟 Say hello to Gordon! 🌟
Gordon a gorgeous Ragdoll kitten joined us for his kitten vaccine, microchip placement (he’s now a big 4 months old!), and a visit to our Kitten Club with Zana.

He’s incredibly affectionate, fully aware of just how cute he is — and clearly knows where the treats are hidden! 🐾💙
We couldn’t get enough of his perfect little toe socks 🧦… what a heart-melter! 😍
