It is with sadness we list our 6yr old Pomsky, Pomeranian X Husky, River, for sale to a new home. This has been an incredibly difficult decision but we have to do what is right by her.
River came to us with her half-sister and has been an absolute delight. She is loving (literally gives hugs), energetic, intelligent and wonderfully motivated to train when the time is put in.
Unfortunately she is also an escape artist and when we're busy on the farm and she gets bored then we cannot keep her contained or entertained enough. She looks far too much like a fox at a distance - especially due to her size - and with the neighbouring fields turning towards sheep more it isnt a risk we can take.
She absolutely needs someone who can give her a huge amount of attention and exercise (both physical and mental). She gets on with children, cats and mostly with other dogs but would not tolerate a dog who wont back down.
She will come with a contract for life so that she never goes into a rescue.
If you'd like, we can have her spayed at our vets (who know her & quoted approx. £250). You'd have to pay our vet directly at the time & then we'd take the amount off her sale price for you (e.g you'd pay us £145 & the vet £250).
