You aren’t alone! As much as we’d love our dogs to see the groomer like we see a spa day, it is not rare for the salon to cause your pup a bit of stress or anxiety.

If you’re a new owner, puppy grooms go a long way to helping your dog become confident and happy at the groomer! We truly see a huge difference in dogs who have come regularly from a young age 🐶

If your dog isn’t quite ready for a full groom, a wash and tidy is a great option between appointments! It includes a bath and blow dry, nails, a thorough brush out, and a tidy of the face, feet and sanitary areas 🧼

If you want a fluffy doodle, brush your dog every day! Even 5 minutes every night will help stop that pesky matting 🪮

As groomers, we won’t advise shaving your dog unless it’s absolutely necessary. Matting is painful, even mild mats pull at the skin underneath and prevent proper airflow. Trust your groomer, we just want the best for your dog (even if that means shaving their coat and starting from scratch)! 🐶
