Apologies to all…we have a couple of groomers on holiday this week and now another has been struck down with Covid. I’m doing my best to get all the dogs booked in groomed but sadly I am having to reschedule a few. I will open on Sunday to accommodate those that have had to move but if you call the salon and there is no answer etc…leave a message and I’ll do my best to come back to you asap.

Say hello to Connie. She is our clothes line. has come to the decision that we need to rely on nature rather than electricity to dry the towels. It’s better for the environment and uses less lecky! Everyone’s a winner. Don’t be surprised if you see her outside the shop. Be pleased we are being mindful. 🧘 🐕

Whoa…the dogs of Haggerston Park are bloody moody this morning. Gilbert (pictured) got chased and attacked by a crazy dog off the lead. The person with him just got him and walked off…not even a little exchange of ‘ooh sorry’. It’s not the way for a walk on the holy day of the week! I think someone needs a dozen hail Mary’s and to write ‘I will not attack poodles on the sabbath’ on a blackboard 100 times. 🐩🤷‍♂️

I don’t know what I’ve done to deserve this. I don’t know how to deal with it all. But my beautiful Maggie has gone. She was our first dog and paved the way for Groom Dog City. She also taught all of our dogs how to behave. RIP My beautiful angel. Go and find Nanny, Molly & Alfie. We love you and always will. Absolutely Heartbroken 💔

It’s not just long haired dogs that have to look their best for the big red man. Short coated dogs benefit from a spruce too and lovely Maddux here knows that all too well. He’s a real regular at Groom Dog City. Isn’t he just a dream??
