📚 World Book Day WEEKEND! 📚 That's right, we are celebrating World Book Day over a whole weekend.

On Saturday 8th and 9th March, we are inviting children to come along to The Farm dressed as their favourite book character and show the animals their awesome costumes. No costume? No problem, children can wear whatever they feel comfortable in!

Children can also bring a book to swap in our ‘book swap shop’ and get comfy on our bean bags to read their new story. We will also be screening books that have been adapted into films in our Kids Film Club. Plus storytelling sessions followed by write a short story about Vauxhall City Farm. There will also be drawing activities such as design your own book cover and much more!

TEASER... there will be awesome pancakes available too...🥞

❤️ About last night…❤️We hosted our first ever Valentines Farm Lates and it was a huge success!

Thank you to all of our wonderful guests who came along to meet the animal of their choice, followed by dinner and drinks in our farm bar.

The sell out event was incredible and we are especially thankful to for donating the Haute Fromagerie cheese boards for such a special occasion.

And let’s not forget our superstar volunteers who helped run the event, you are AMAZING ❤️

📚 Afterschool Club 📚 A FREE programme focusing on Project Based Learning to instil positive attitude towards learning, foster curiosity, and equip students with essential skills.

When: Every Thursday (4pm–6pm) from 27th Feb – 27th March.
Who: Students aged 8 – 12 years old.

The goal of the programme is to instil positive attitude towards learning, foster curiosity, and equip students with essential skills by incorporating the four Cs of 21st Century Learning Skills – Communication, Collaboration, Critical Thinking, and Creativity.

Activities: Hands-on projects addressing real-life problems, including working in our Community Garden, Eco Garden and around The Farm.
Subjects: Practical application of Maths and English aligned with curriculum targets.

🌱 City Sprouts 🌱 Are you a teacher or youth worker looking for a unique experience for a group of young people, away from the stressors of daily life?

Amidst the hustle and bustle of busy city lives, we offer young people an opportunity to hit pause and reconnect with what really matters, our well-being, and the beauty of the natural world.

City Sprouts is a 6 week programme for an hour and a half per week, for ages 11 – 16 years old. The minimum group size is 8 students with a maximum of 12.
