What does a dog look like after our scent detection sessions? ... well here's Betty! She worked so hard!

This is what we REALLY enjoy about our job.... building YOUR confidence to train your puppy/dog. This was Teddy's first session and here he is at the end off lead walking with his mum and dad. He's confident, happy and they are able to recall him away from people and other dogs. I'm so proud of them!
Billy's CT Scan is amazing! From a scent perspective this really appeals to my geeky side!
Billy is fine, he has taken part in a research project with Cambridge University regarding BOAS so he has had CT Scan, a scale and polish and dental work and a full health check. They even found his brain....lol I'm so passionate about this breed, it has been an absolute pleasure to be able to take part. (Although I'm not sure Billy feels that way post GA...)
Creed's Dad jas been away this Easter and he needed a few extra sessions to help with Creeds training. So we headed over to do some "train for you" sessions where we do the training and send over videos and information as to what we've done, why and how. This makes your training plan even better! Creed is a teeny 11 week old Rhodesian Ridgeback and we've started his recall training, his lead walking training as well as teaching him to settle on his bed.
If you need any help at all with your puppy then please get in touch. We LOVE training your puppy as much as you do and seeing their little brains process and work hard is just awesome!

Bobby has been transformed! His recall is so good and he's so sharp on the whistle now, we're even able to recall him from chasing squirrels!
Look at Bobby learning the basics of heelwork/loose lead walking. He's been used to walking on a slip lead and just pulling pulling pulling so we've changed him to a harness and collar and are starting his training from scratch just doing little bits at home first. This was just 5 minutes into our session. He is going to be walking beautifully in no time!
Billy LOVES a bit of Parkour!
Did you know we run parkour classes in Tooting on Saturdays!
Get in touch for more info!
Little Spike nailed his parkour class, we can't wait to see how he gets on next week!
Brilliant Parkour session today. As it's the first session we worked on building really good solid foundations including warm ups, cavaletti, paws ups (front and rear) and all 4 paws on a platform. Dogs did absolutely brilliantly!
In just 2 weeks look at how much baileys recall has improved!!! We really had to work hard yo get her to move away from us so we could actually practice her recall! She was just amazing!
Super boy Jasper learnt to wipe his feet this morning! This will come in handy after a muddy walk!
Is it possible to teach a working cocker spaniel to walk nicely onlead?
Of course it is!
Here's Jasper our little superstar working on his threshold training. The Lead is attached for safety but as you can see, we didn't need to hold it. What a clever boy!
Bailey.... powered by Primula! 🤣🤣🤣
More loose lead walking training foe gorgeous young labrador Bruno. Their previous dog trainer had taught Bruno to look at his mum when walking and we don't want that. We want to teach dogs to look where they are going and be aware of their surroundings. We also like to teach dogs that they can go and sniff and be a dog without it meaning that they can pull you down the road!
Threshold training is something we love to teach. And it's so important to teach especially in London. Teaching dogs yo be calm around doorways and not run out of the front door will also keep them safe! Minnie aced it in her session today
With the nights drawing in we've had a couple of sessions in the park when we've lost the light. Here's Hudson the gsp learning to wake nicely on lead. He tends to crab round and walk sideways so we used the wall in the park as a barrier to try to encourage him to walk nicely and to look where he's going rather than looking up at us or at the treat. We also talked about reward placement and rewarding him when he's behind or at the side so we don't inadvertently reward him for pulling in front
George turns his nose up at chips.... how rude! Lol
