New research from our survey shows that a quarter of young vets consider themselves and that 23% of neurodivergent vets feel their workplace is not supportive of neurodivergent staff.

We're encouraging all veterinary workplaces to check that they are creating neuro-inclusive environments, offering appropriate support for neurodivergent staff and the whole team.

Following a consultation in July, the RCVS - Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons Council has agreed to proceed with recommended changes to governance.

In response, BVA President Dr. Elizabeth Mullineaux said "It’s good to see in the changes outlined today, that the College is listening to the profession and is taking steps towards BVA’s recommendations around greater clarity of both its regulatory and Royal College functions."
