Springtime safety with The London Cat Clinic.
1) Toxic Plants: Toxic plants like lilies, azaleas, and tulips (amongst others) pose a threat to your cat’s health. Opt for cat-safe alternatives to keep them out of harm’s way.
2) Fleas and Ticks: Pesky fleas and ticks emerge with the warmer weather, putting your cat at risk of discomfort and disease. Protect your pet with vet-approved preventatives to keep them itch-free all season long.
3) High Rises/Open Windows: Open windows may seem inviting, but they pose a serious risk of falls for curious cats. Install screens or guards to prevent accidents and ensure your cat’s safety.
4) Garden Substances: Garden substances like fertilisers, pesticides, and snail and slug repellents can be toxic to your cat if ingested. Store them securely and opt for pet-safe alternatives to protect your furry friend.
Stay informed and take steps to safeguard your feline friend from these seasonal risks! 🐾

There are lots of myths around about neutering and its effect on cats’ wellbeing; these can understandably make many owners worried about doing the right thing. In reality, cats do not have the same emotions as humans around reproduction. In most cases, neutering really is the best decision to prevent nasty diseases and to safeguard your cat’s health.
Cats produce kittens very easily – and rehoming large unplanned litters can become a significant welfare issue. Be a Feline Friend and Neuter your cat.

Client Testimonial:
Best Vets around and truly best in class for our cat family
Not only an amazing place to bring your cats, but truly a 5* service for felines and owners.
Dr Jeremy and his team are truly amazing, we would be lost without them.
Currently, with 2 rescue cats and a Siberian forest adolescent, medical problems are an inevitability.
However, with everything on site, amazing accessibility, first-class care from everyone and superb specialist care we have never needed to, and would never dream of going anywhere else.
We have a love of rescue animals and Jeremy and his team have helped us through the rescues, the bumps in the road, every aspect of their care, the end of life sadness and the welcoming of the new.
Love the team, love the clinic and can’t recommend them enough xx
Love from Tia, Sam & Daisy

Dental, oral, and maxillofacial diseases are very common in feline medicine, though they are often underdiagnosed.
The key to finding and addressing these problems early is through regular oral checks. Our Feline Fine Health Care Plan offers your cat both an annual and 6-month health assessment where their mouth is carefully examined. Head to our website to get to know all the details.
Did you know we offer an Acupuncture Clinic? Dr Carolyn joined us towards the end of last year and has completed a course in Acupuncture.
Acupuncture has been shown to help alleviate pain in many conditions. In particular, we have a lot of evidence of its efficacy in treating joint pain for arthritic cats.
If you think your feline friend would benefit from a course of treatment, please contact us on 020 3740 or alternatively, you email us at [email protected].

At The London Cat Clinic, we provide advanced dentistry services to cover your cat's oral health needs.

Dental problems are as painful for cats as they are for us! The thing is, our feline friends are great at masking when they are unwell. An attentive carer and dedicated vet team are paramount, as early signs of dental issues can be difficult to detect.
At TLCC, we provide thorough diagnostics and solutions to all oral issues, from cleaning and polishing to complex maxillofacial surgery.
Once dental issues are suspected, we'll conduct a thorough comprehensive oral health assessment and treatment (COHAT), which will allow us to determine the best way to help your cat.
If you'd like an expert opinion from vet Rob, ask your vet to fill out the referral form on our website!
Joining our Feline Fine Health Care Plan is the easiest way for you to make sure your cat’s preventative needs are taken care of all year long! 🔗 https://www.thelondoncatclinic.co.uk/health-plans/

Sometimes life takes people to a different country and cats are part of the family so of course they move too. It’s always a bit sad to wave one of our patients goodbye after having completed all their export paperwork, and we really appreciate when we receive the news that they’ve arrived safe and sound and are settling into their new life, just like gorgeous Hoho did recently.
Good luck in your new adventure Hoho, stay in touch!
