Last year I visited .raeburn in his studio in Hackney. I bought his excess technical fabrics and took these on the bus back to my studio in Camberwell.

Recycling existing materials promotes a circular economy and in this case a small business like mine benefits from the use of fabrics I wouldn’t usually be able to purchase.

The above fleece fabric was bought directly from a mill in Italy for a collection. In order to buy this fleece myself I’d have to meet a minimum order quantity (probably 100’s of metres) and pay giant import charges due to Brexit!

Dead-stock fabric has its limitations - it’s not limitless! We only have a limited amount of this fabric and so this fleece is limited edition!

I’ve been documenting treat distribution as part of a recent study for Harvard University. I can now confirm that whilst owners remain generous with treats they have started to grade treats into higher and lower value sectors, often cutting the higher value items into smaller pieces. For instance you may receive a low grade treat for a sit and a high grade treat to distract you from a cat.

• Wool is a natural fibre with antibacterial and antimicrobial properties
• Boiled wool is water repellant (perfect for April showers)

After a year in the making we may have to bid farewell to Flint in grey. My UK manufacturers might not be producing anymore of this fabric — very sad news

If you’ve been thinking of ordering Flint or Wren in grey I’d suggest doing so before they all sell out for good.

Søren will be available in sizes 0 - 4 for Italian greyhounds very soon. It’s something I’ve been working on for a very long time, covid disrupted the process immensely which has been frustrating but we are on the home stretch 🖤
