🥹 This is so sweet and sad at the same time. Our pets are family and loosing them is just as painful as loosing a human.

I remember when I lost my cat and I downplayed the hurt in front of people that didnt have pets because fear of judgement at such a vulnerable time.

But in our community at Chatty Cats Care, it’s always a safe space to express about your loss and we fully understand.

One of the best things about promoting my business in the community is talking to people. 🎉 Welcome Sammy to our Chatty Cats Care Team! Sammy joined us at the beginning of summer and has just successfully compleated her first couple of bookings, which have gone really well. She’s excited for her upcoming bookings and building more cat/client relationships. This is a little of what she has to say:

“Apart from looking after my own cats, i have previously volunteered with animals and pet sit for friends here and there. Additionally, i have experience with cats who need extra care as a few years ago my baby pixie was taken very ill. before his passing he was on many medications and drips that i would help to administer to the best of my ability, he knew he was loved right till the end.”

I had the pleasure of attending the recent Angel Investment Awards 2024 with

I shared a table with the amazing Homemove and met the wonderful co-founder 🚀James Freestone and the company Sales Lead SJ. They are so deserving of the award due to the hard work that has been put into the company.

I attended this event alone and it was quite daunting at first and I felt a little anxious. But after speaking with James, SJ, and a couple of others at my table, I felt comfortable and confident.

How Chatty Cats Care Started

I am the founder of Chatty Cats Care; I have been working as a professional Catsitter and Housesitter since 2017. I own a cat called Gerry, which I inherited from my late grandma and he is 21 years old, which is the extraordinary age of 100 in cat years. There is no secret to my cats’ longevity and youthful looks; he just receives lots of love, attention, good cat food and occasional prawns or cooked white fish. I give the same love and care to all the cats I sit, hence why I have a very happy growing client base and regular recommendations.

I also occasionally housesit, which gives the homeowner’s peace of mind, while they are away and their cat (s) lots of company.

From a young age I have always loved cats, so this job has fulfilled all of my childhood dreams an abundance of cats (what more could I want). As you all may know, every cat is different and I have been fortunate enough to have experience with so many different breeds and personalities now, I feel like a cat whisperer.

I have looked after Rescue Cats, which can be quite timid, Playful Cats, Siamese Cats, British Blues, Indoor Cats, Outdoor Cats, Hunter Cats (not too keen on the gifts they bring), Bengal Cats, Ragdoll Cats, Kittens, Diabetic Cats, and Multiple Cats in one home…. You name it; I’ve probably done it.
