It produces minimal sparks, making it a top-notch option for your fireplace or trusty log burner. And all is said and done, ash creates a clean, tidy pile of ash.

To get that primo quality, we make sure our hardwood ash and firewood get plenty of sun exposure in stillages or open piles before a final stint in the kiln. By the time we're through, we're left with a super dry product boasting a moisture content of around 15%, all while being mindful of our fuel consumption.

Speaking of kilns, ours runs on logs too - typically using tree surgery leftovers or wood that didn't quite make the sales cut. The benefits of using such bone-dry wood are plentiful: less smoke, more heat, minimal ash, and even a little less pollution thanks to those wood gases getting burned up just right.
