We ensure that they receive veterinary care, are spayed neutered and vaccinated and specialise in rehoming animals due to owners ill health. We only adopt our kittens in pairs; unless you have an older cat over 6 months old. What is the adoption fee?
£160 for one cat or kitten. What does the adoption fee cover? It covers neutering, first inoculation only, flea, worming etc. Cats/ kittens will be
flead and wormed prior to adoption, then it is up to new owner to continue with flea worming treatments. We live in such and such area can we adopt from you? We do try to accommodate people if they meet the adoption criteria and If we feel it would be a perfect fit for all. We are London based and are prepared to travel however, say an adopter lived in Scotland, they would have to travel and pick up the animal. We would like a kitten under 4 months old, or cat under a certain age…
We do know the age of some of our cats/kittens if they were born in to the rescue, or handed in and told their age, but some are abandoned, stray, found on the streets, handed in to us etc. We go by what our vet advises. Please stress that ALL vets have different training; One vet might say a kitten is 3 months old, whereas another would claim 5 months. What about pet insurance? We give 4 weeks free insurance. After that it is up to the adopter whether to carry on with that insurance or join another. If we get a kittens from you, will they be neutered? We neuter kittens from 5 to 6 months old, but this is ONLY if the kittens are over 2 kilos each. So it is dependant on the age and weight whether a kitten is neutered. What if we adopt from you and cat doesn't get on with other animals in the house? We will always do whats best for the animal and new owners. They can continue to contact us for advise after adoption. If the situation isn't working out, then the cat can come back in to the rescue. Will our kitten be microchipped? If you want to adopt a young kitten- say 4 months old. It would have to be un-neutered and not microchipped. The kitten would have to be kept indoors till it was 5 to 6 months old and over 2 kilos in weight. It would then get neutered and microchipped at the same time.
