A 15-year-old pony sustained a head wound.

On Day 1, the wound was cleaned using SureKlot Spray, followed by the application of SureKlot Powder. SureKlot Gel was then applied twice daily for one week, after which SureKlot Spray was used twice daily.

After 8 days of gel application, excellent granulation tissue formed. Eight days later, under spray treatment, the wound exhibited satisfactory shrinkage and rapid peripheral epidermization.

The gauze adheres to the tissues when needed and can easily detach once complete. The SureKlot mechanism of action is based on the Protonated Bioadhesive Technology (PBTTM) which includes 4 major aspects including charge-based interaction with blood components, platelet activation via Toll-like receptors (TLR), clotting cascade activation and fibrin plug formation.

As anticoagulant drugs do not interact with TLR receptors, SureKlot can control large amounts of bleeding.
