Our own brand Hen Nation eggs are free-range and organic, but they're also so much more than this. Our eggs come from hens that are re-homed once they stop laying commercially and are able to live out their natural lives. We do this by saving a percentage of the profit from each half dozen eggs and using it towards supporting each hen’s retirement.

Commercial egg-laying hens (even free-range and organic ones), are killed at just 72 weeks old. On the date that the new birds arrive at a farm, a date is already in the diary for the shed to be emptied, all the hens packed into crates, loaded onto pallets and taken to slaughter – often hundreds of miles away.

Hen Nation eggs are eggs for animal lovers. 💚

Organic fruit and veg doesn't just taste much better, it's also better for our health. 🍏🥕

Industrial farming involves the use of pesticides and chemicals that can leave a residue on produce (even after washing!). As organic farming relies on natural methods such as crop rotation and beneficial insects- the end result is healthier, pesticide-free fruit and veg.
