Sophie Bear - Queen of Bethnal Green 👑 has come to stay for the first time in four years. So much has changed. Bea isn't a baby anymore and Roxy isn't earth side 💔 but we have a Fae Fae now ❤️‍🩹😃

Doggy Insights: 2 years ago we were moving in and now, today we are moving out 🚚

We are soon to become BETHNAL GREEN SDH 🐾Shoreditch has been amazing. We were the first space in Shoreditch specifically dedicated to dog care. We survived a pandemic and a completely different way of running our small biz and even moved into a bigger space. We started the beginnings of a pet shop. Over 6 years and always so grateful to still be working and loving the dogs we care for. We couldn't have done any of it without the love and support of our dogs and their mums and dads and carers. We are always, everyday grateful for all of you guys. ❤️💛🐾🙏🏻

We are sad our iconic building The Huntingdon Estate will be knocked down. Who remembers the old Locksmith and his absolute lion of a dog? moved just round the corner and still going strong and we are off to Bethnal Green. 15 stories of light blocking is coming to Shoreditch instead. And that's business in the big ol smoke folks, ever changing and high rise 🏙️

Typical problematic issues that many dogs are having with their owners include:

Humans that pull & jerk on the lead & particularly when changing direction.

Humans that are reactive and particularly around other dogs.

Impulsive behaviour and a lack of calm, attention & focus.

Excessive shouting.

Excessive phone use and much, much more…

We can help with these owner issues using systematic, consistent positive reinforcement.

No humans will be forced to wear prong collars, choke chains, slip-leads or suffer threats, bullying or intimidation.

It made the 7 o clock news thanks to myself and journalist Sam Lederer . This has been the biggest battle in my career since teaching DOGA in 2012. when Puppy yoga came into this country I did everything in my power to get these bastards out. Animal abuse is at the forefront. I always knew it in my heart and almost felt guilty for creating DOGA in the first place because I KNEW these puppies were suffering. Thank you Anna Webb Marc Baker Alexis Parr for taking me serious. Thank you ITV and RSPCA to put a stop to this unethical animal abuse in the name of YOGA.
Justice always prevails !

This Sunday 2 July. 12-4. Lots going on. Colin Baker will officially open the day. There are plenty of bargains to be had, gifts to buy, games to play, circus skills including aerial hoop, craft, canine first aid demos, marlow fm, wycombe wanderers, auction hosted by Tom Keane, bbq, bar, pizza, sweets and most of all it’s all in aid of helping us care for our dogs. Thank you to every single person/pup who has wished us all well since Roxy passed. Thank you for loving Roxy and seeing how special she was, as much as we did. It's a shared grief and that has helped me and all of our family so much ❤️‍🩹

7 days without Roxy breathing beside me and I am feeling much stronger and starting to reflect on her life with us. Protesting against austerity and visiting Calais Jungle. She made her mark and brought joy and helped me to understand the world on a much deeper level. Im beyond grateful to Roxy.
Also teaching us and our young children about death and talking about the hard stuff and big emotions. Anyone else feel like we don't talk about death enough?

And now we are reading the Tibetan Book of the Dead. Together. Roxy loved story time.

Anxiety
When we rescued Roxy she had anxiety from trauma. My journey to help Roxy with her anxiety then made me realise I had to start looking at how I needed to start dealing with my own anxiety too. Dogs are truly amazing ❤️‍🩹
