Collectable Cities 03: Beefeater

Now on Kickstarter! Back in Tudor times, Henry VIII sent some of his guards to the Tower of London to mind prisoners and protect the Crown jewels. Formally named Yeoman Warders, they enjoyed perks like beef from the King’s table (hence the nickname). The job description now includes a fabulous wardrobe, heavy keys, smiling for the camera, and keeping the resident ravens happy - for the story goes that the kingdom shall fall should the ravens leave the fortress. Raven included.

Here’s one for all you parents that are trying to keep things fun for the kids at home: Codey & the Cloud episode two is now on youtube!

So excited to finally announce our biggest project to date - a kids’ YouTube series we were approached to design and animate; Codey and the Cloud. Codey the tablet works with his friend (the cloud) to learn about different subject matter and how technology plays a part in their journey. Episode one is all about diggers and the animated storyline sandwiches live action footage of diggers in action. Please do share and like, and spread the word with any kids / parents you know. Big shout out to Edmund Curtis for his lighting expertise, and hope to follow it up shortly with episode 2!

I worked with new dad Roo Stain to bring a series of sketches to life for his son’s bedroom walls. Our so-called Gentle Monsters were made in C4D and rendered off in Redshift.
