URGENT- Found near Hendon Central tube last night as she’s sadly been hit by a car. She is receiving treatment with us but we really need to find the owner. She is chipped but the chip is not registered so we are not able to trace the owner that way. Please share!

This male neutered cat was brought in this evening and is receiving treatment with us. He has a left ear tip (to show he has been neutered) but sadly has no chip. He was found in the UB1 area which is Southall so he’s a long way from home. Please share this far and wide!

Over the summer, our vets see a lot of dogs who have issues because of grass seeds. It is important to contact your vet immediately if you suspect your dog has an injury caused by a grass seed.
If walking your dog in long grass or woodland areas, we recommend checking your dog over and brushing away any grass seeds after the walk is done. Pay particular attention to paws, ears, eyes, and armpits.

The law is changing - from 10 June 2024, cats in England must be microchipped and registered on a database by the time they’re 20 weeks old. The penalty for not microchipping your cat could be a £500 fine. A microchipped cat has a much higher chance of being reunited - please microchip your cat. Dogs can pick up kennel cough multiple times throughout their lives, but in most cases, they can recover in a few weeks.
During this time, you should encourage your dog to rest and avoid collar and lead activity as it could put more strain on their respiratory system. You should talk to your vet if your dog’s cough persists, or if you notice any changes in behaviour such as a reduced appetite or less energy.

Is your rabbit protected against Myxomatosis? This highly infectious viral disease has a very high mortality rate and can leave your rabbit prone to other infections.
The best way to protect your rabbit is to vaccinate them, especially as there is no cure if your rabbit becomes infected. There's also ways to reduce the risk of your rabbit catching the virus.

GRAPHIC CONTENT Shuri came in yesterday as she had a swollen neck and it was painful. We were worried there was a foreign body in there and we were right! We did a CT scan and it showed a SEWING NEEDLE in her neck- she must have swallowed it and it migrated. Jerry managed to carefully remove the needle and string and we are happy to say that Shuri is recovering well! She is a lucky lady as this could have become much more serious. Wishing Shuri all the best for her continued recovery!
Twinkle Toes came into us in December as a stray with a broken leg 😿 we fixed him and found him a new home but sadly it hasn’t worked out for him so he is back with us. Twinkle is now looking for a home to call his own again! He would like to be the top cat in the house and therefore would like to live with no other pets! He is extremely playful and loves to rough and tumble so would be best suited to a home with no small children. He would also love to have access to the outdoors. He really is a character and we would love to find a great home for him! For more info please get in touch! 💙 PS did we mention he has LOADS of extra toes?! Hence the name 🤣
Some days, we just want to snuggle puppies and kittens to be honest! So happy #humpday everyone- here is a bit of cuteness to get you through the rest of the week! Cardi’s pups came to see us for a health check so we got to have the best puppy cuddles with them! 🥰 And Ronald our foster kitten has finally started to get his appetite back after feeling very poorly this week so here he is enjoying his dinner! 🥰
