UPDATE ON DORIN...Dorin is doing surprisingly well.in his foster home and they have immediately said he can stay forever now, not just foster, YAY. We thought he would not be touchable but he is cuddling up.to her although is obviously a bit shell shocked he has realised he is safe. Dorin was one of 25 dogs abandoned in Romania by a UK rescuer after she asked for them to be removed from the public shelter. There are 8 left and this lovely foster said she will take another to save it but the remaining 7 are stranded and big and shy and have little hope sadly.

So shes going to kill me but one of our adopters Christina England is in a horrible situation financially and needs help...

So shes going to kill me but one of our adopters Christina England is in a horrible situation financially and needs help. She is a very kind person and has taken in 7 dogs and a lot of them have major health issues and without her wouldnt be here like little Arlo below with his prosthetic. She recently had huge issues with a mistake with her pension and has been left without money coming in for a few months and has resorted to food banks. When it was sorted out she had 4 months bills to pay and now is left with 20 pound till next month and next to no food in the house. She recently collapsed with stress and had to have CPR and has just come out of hospital with gastroenteritis and to cap it all its a year anniversary of her sons death. Am asking if anyone can send her a little donation to make up for all this horrible luck and so her and her other son and 7 dogs can have a Xmas.

Dorin is on his way to transport and his new life. Its been a long journey for him after finding himself in the public shelter. Thinking he was saved only to be abandoned by his UK rescuer. There are 8 poor souls left of the original 25 she abandoned after Dorin and sadly wont be easy to find places for. Animal adoption international has been working hard to find options but running out of options sadly. Dorin at least is safe.

STILL NEED TO RAISE 110 EUROS FOR PREP AND PASSPORT, THANK YOU TO ALL WHO HAVE DONATED, HIS TRANSPORT IS RAISED SO JUST PREP AND HE CAN LEAVE ON THE 14TH FOR HIS FOSTER HOME YAYY
WE HAVE A XMAS MIRACLE.......REMEMBER THE 25 DOGS IN ROMANIA THAT WERE ABANDONED BY A UK RESCUER....WELL THERE ARE 9 STILL LEFT THERE SND ANIMAL ADOPTION INTERNATIONAL HAS BEEN STRUGGLING TO KEEP THEM SAFE... Sadly they are all big and not fluffy and mostly shy. However we have a MIRACLE and one of them has been offered an experienced foster home, they already have 4 of the 25 abandoned lol. This boy is the one they have chosen. His name is Dorin and he can escape freezing Ŕomania for Xmas and leave on the 14th December if we can raise £280 for his transport and £120 prep tests and passport. Please help this boy get to a warm home for Xmas. He is shy and plain to most people and will not generally get offers. URGENT URGENT URGENT
Things are URGENT now for poor Belle. She needs to find a foster home at least as the kennels she is in is FULL for Xmas and there is no EB places left anymore and all kennels will be full. If we don't find her a foster we might have to do the unthinkable and send her back to Romania. There must be a suitable foster there. She's lab sized. About 5 years old, seems OK with dogs, a bit shy at first but warms up, no cats or children as not tested. This is super urgent now. Homechecks apply and must be experienced. URGENT SITUATION
It is with great sadness that I have been told that friend and AAI adopter and long term fosterer Andy Mamza has passed away. Andy was a real gentleman and a genuinely lovely person and he will be missed. Andy was a godsend to the rescue. He twice drove to France for us. First time to pick me up when coming back from Albania with Sheppy and Burlington Bertie from Bow and second to pick up Jack and Corobelle who were coming from China. Andy also adopted Carla, now called Pheobe from Romania and Ella May from Kosovo from us with his long term partner Alison. It is such a sad time for Alison and they had 6 fur babies together. Andy was also long term fostering Sheppy for us who has been abandoned in our care by another rescue who initially brought Sheppy from Albania and was how I was initially was in contact with her when she asked for help getting him out of Albania. She is also the person who abandoned 25 dogs in Romania. WE NOW HAVE AN URGENT SITUATION AS SHEPPY NEEDS A NEW FOSTER OR PREFERABLY FOREVER HOME. Sheppy is a seriously lovely boy BUT he does have the classic shepherd characteristics of guarding his family and so needs a family who understands this and who has no visitors or will put him away, no exceptions. He will adore his family and see anyone else as a threat to them. Sheppy is living with 6 other dogs and adores female dogs and is living with males but initially did have an issue with one of the male dogs though is fine now. He also did once have sn issue with Nelson when he was in boarding with Alison Clark but again fine with other males. So it's a hard one, probably only female dogs or an only dog. Sheppy has had such bad luck and he really deserves his happy ending. I know Andy would have loved to know Sheppy was safe and happy. This is a terrible time in rescue and I can't bear Sheppy to go back to a kennels after living in a home but the homes out there are sparse. Sheppy is a lovely boy bar the visitor thing. URGENT URGENT URGENT. IN THE UK
THIS IS A LAST DITCH ATTEMPT TO FIND ALTERNATIVE PREMISES FOR THE SHELTER OWNER AND 17 DOGS. THEY HAVE BEEM GIVEN NOTICE TO QUIT AND HAVE ABOUT 4 WEEKS LEFT TO FIND SOMEWHERE. A LOT OF THE DOGS HAVE ISSUES AND WONT FIND A HOME. SLL THESE DOGS WILL BE PTS IF NOWHERE FOUND. We need either a kennels to rent or stables to convert where a caravan can be put. DO NOT SEND PROPERTIES FOR SALE AS THERE IS NO MONEY FOR THIS UNLESS A MILLIONAIRE WANTS TO COME UP WITH THIS. We are looking for premises to rent nothing else please. A few dogs can go to foster but unless you can deal with dogs with issues it's no good. All our hearts are breaking at this situation.

WE ONLY RAISED £50 FOR MICHEALS KENNEL FEES YESTERDAY. IF ANYONE CAN HELP HIM PLEASE DO.

Animal Adoption International is still 2 months behind with little Michael's boarding fees. £440 is still owed and we need to raise at least £110 tonight to keep his place. Anything that is raised by any of the items listed or for the woofle fir the Pra da bag will go to his fees. Its urgent we pay this off. Michael was catch poled in the public shelter which has left him with trust issues and he is so happy in his boarding.

Gorgeous Siri is desperately looking for her forever home. She is a sweet 8 year old girl who loves attention. She is best as an only dog as can be a bit dominant but could probably live with a male dog. Siri spent many years in a shelter and deserves a retirement home in her Autumn years. She is still active though and good on walks. Siri is not cat tested and although OK with children think she would prefer a quiter home so no children. Siri is fostered in South Wales. For those that don't know Havoc was rescued from Snowdonia Animal Sanctuary and years of abuse, first picture is him in that hellhole, second is now. Could you open your heart and home and get Belle into at least a foster home for Xmas but preferably a forever home. She's a sweet older lady, we think 6 to 8. She will be a bit nervous at first but will warm up. She may never have lived in a home so you need to be patient. She appears OK with other dogs but would still want careful introductions. No cats or kids as not tested. She has been waiting in kennels for so long now and she really deserves a chance. She was one of the abandoned 25 dogs in Romania. She is currently in Wales.
