Remember your dog when you leave them in a car on a hot summer day. Dogs can overheat very quickly, and it doesn’t take long for them to get sick or even die from the heat.

On a warm day, the temperature inside a parked car can reach dangerous levels within minutes, even if the windows are cracked open. Dogs do not sweat like humans do, and they rely on panting to cool down, which is not effective in a hot, confined space. Heatstroke can set in rapidly, leading to severe illness or death.

Please always consider the well-being of your pets and never leave them unattended in a vehicle during warm weather. If you need to run errands, it’s best to leave them at home in a cool, safe environment.
