Today was oldies day at SalliPets Dog Rescue .
We rehomed Lola (Frenchie), Rusty (Boston Terrier) and Jessica (Frenchie) to two different families after the owner sadly died this week.
Thank you to both families for adopting these senior dogs.
Tomorrow, Dolly (Terrier x) is also going to an amazing home.

Well done Surrey Police ! Dog thieves never win.

After eight long years, a gorgeous Cocker Spaniel called Daisy, who was stolen from her home in Dorking in Mole Valley back in 2016, has now been reunited with her owners. 🐶💙

Daisy, who was one at the time, was stolen along with three other dogs in November 2016, after thieves took the working gun dogs from the garden kennels they were housed in.

Tragically one of the dogs was killed after being hit by a car as it tried to escape and the other two stolen dogs have never been located, despite best efforts from officers.

In a surreal turn of events, and nearly eight years to the day since Daisy was taken, officers were alerted on Tuesday 29 October, that someone had tried to update her microchip details. Our rural crime officer PC Laura Rowley immediately contacted the microchip company to obtain the details of the new owners.

Just two days later officers from the Mole Valley Safer Neighbourhood team completed a three hour round trip to bring Daisy back to Surrey and her owners. They said, "Daisy had been rehomed in good faith by the new owners and they were unaware of the theft of Daisy.

“We brought Daisy, who is now slightly deaf, back to the Mole Valley Safer Neighbourhood Team Office and there was not a dry eye in the house when she was reunited with her owners. She recognised them immediately and stuck to them like glue!"

Sadly, the other dogs, Tilly a black working Cocker Spaniel, and Storm a patchy white Patterdale Terrier, remain missing and are believed to be elderly or have possibly passed away due to their age at the time of the theft. However, if you have any information that may be relevant, please contact us quoting PR/45160097926.

It's called SalliPets Dog Rescue Magic!
It's thanks to our Adopters, Volunteers and our followers!!
They love our one week trial, we rehome with dog lovers irrespective of Adopters' age, sexuality, religion or disability. We don't kennel our dogs and every dog is happy because we don't humanise them. We are here to serve our community and love our dogs.
Next year is our 10th anniversary.

This is Nala, shes currently 13 months old and has had her injections and is not neutered , she comes from a friendly home she is trained to go toilet outside and knows the sit, stay, paw, lay commands. She hasnt had full training but she learns very fast, she is looking for a new forever home for the right family! She has never been aggresive towards anyone in the 11 months i have had her she is good with children however can get abit excited, perfect with adults and loves to play with other dogs. Only reason for rehoming is due to career change and not having enough time to spend with her. She is very energetic and loves to go for runs in the park off the lead.

We have a dream....

SalliPets rehomes dogs that have been abandoned. Our objective is to be unique in our mission to help these dogs.

We rescue them, and they work with children that have emotional difficulties, are afraid of dogs or they need a four legged friend to confide in. Our work in this area is called Pet-A-Pet and is a trademarked name. Our dogs may work with the children for weeks, months or years and when the work is done we rehome our dogs.

Our rescues are always welcome to stay with us during their owners holidays, subject to availability. We are so pleased to have them back, whether it be a weekend or a month. They live in my home, are part of the family and that is why we like to have them back for holidays.

We are proud to call our Adopters family and some have adopted multiple dogs. Our work started in 2015 and although we rehome a small numbers of dogs, we are very proud of our little charity.
