SOS cat call out. I put this flyer together from the request of a vet. Please use the contact below if you can help. "Dear humans, Hello, I’m Pandora!
I’m a youthful 12 years old, but life has thrown me a bit of a curveball, and I need your help. For 11 wonderful years, I lived with my beloved daddy, who I absolutely adored. But, sadly, he left me behind, and my world has been turned upside down.
Thankfully, some kind neighbours have stepped in to care for me, but they’re young and not able to give me a permanent home. They’re doing their best, but we’re all feeling a little lost. I’m terribly unhappy and feeling quite discombobulated (yes, cats can use big words too!).
One heart breaking suggestion was to put me to sleep because I’m considered an “unwanted senior.” But I’m holding onto hope that someone out there will offer me the loving forever home I deserve.
I’m healthy, apart from having Idiopathic Vestibular Syndrome, which occasionally makes me lose my balance for a short time. It doesn’t stop me from living a full life! I’m affectionate and love a good lap to curl up on, although I’m not a fan of being picked up. Like most cats, I like to choose when to be close to my human—and most of the time, I’ll be nearby because I truly enjoy company.
I’d love to have access to a garden if possible, but I can manage perfectly fine without one too. A calm, loving home with someone who’s retired or works from home would be ideal, as I thrive with human companionship.
If you’re ready to welcome me into your life (and I know you won’t regret it!), please email my current carer, Dan, at [email protected] I’m based in Brixton and waiting with crossed paws for my second chance.
Sadly, I can’t reply to emails myself because I can’t read or use a phone (yet!). Thank you for taking the time to read my story.
With love and purrs, Pandora x"
