Doris has come on leaps and bounds since I first started massaging this beautiful girl.
I could barely touch her below the ribcage initially, she was so worried. Now she trusts me, and let's me work on her whole body

Big boy Rocky had his regular maintenance massage and did so well.
He can be quite vocal with his likes and dislikes.
Sometimes it can be hard to tell, but his eyes let me know good noises and not so good noises.

Part of being a Canine massage therapist is being able to read the client and their body language.
This is very important for both myself and the dog.

This gorgeous boy is so full of joy.
Unfortunately he has a condition called CDRM, more commonly known as Degenerative Myopathy.
This is a condition that affects the spinal cord causing hind limb weakness and eventually paralysis.
His family are doing all they can to help their boy live his best life!

It was so lovely seeing this beautiful boy again.
It's been a while since his last session with me.
Unfortunately as well as having chronic osteoarthritis, he has developed Degenerative Myopathy and his hind legs have lost the ability to support him.
He is still bright, enthusiastic and loving life.
Massage will be beneficial to help with compensation, stimulating nerves on the limbs and increasing circulation.
I was so pleased during our session, I was able to extend and flex his hind leg. This is so important for joint health.
I am really looking forward to seeing Kaspa next week.

Mr Ollie came in for his regular maintenance massage and he was such a good boy!
I found he had a trigger point in one of his Lats and he was a bit tight in his range of movement in one of his forelegs, but that is understandable as his mum told me that he was chasing squirrels in the park the day before and caught one!
Luckily Ollie only wanted to play with it, and it was fine and ran off!
