A huge thank you to our wonderful patron Wendy Turner-Webster for appearing on Good Morning Britain to discuss “fireworks”. Stealing the show, of course, her gorgeous Paws2Rescue adopted girl Newt.

In October, 3 pups were rescued, 1 totally blind, 1 partially blind, and 1 we think blind in one eye. Sadly, the blind puppy died whilst we were there, so devastating to witness her innocent life slip away, eaten alive by worms from the inside out.
A month on, and 2 little siblings enjoying life, thankfully now vaccinated, their immune systems built up, enjoying the love of mummy Melisa - and sharing the new soft bed we brought from the UK.
The pups now strong enough to visit the eye specialist, where we can check their eyes, and pray that their sight is improved or whether any interventions are needed to help.
Just look at how the pups are enjoying life, indoors because it’s chilly outside. Paws2Rescue’d pups.
Please help!!!
Melisa rescued this pup yesterday because she was in a place of such danger. She realised last night that the pup was struggling to breathe and rushed her to the emergency vet today to see what is wrong.
The little girl has a ruptured diaphragm and needs surgery tomorrow. A massive risk because she is only around 2 months old and has no immunity and no vaccines. The alternative is worse, as she won’t survive the week without surgery.
We really need to ask for your help for the vet bill, we already have another huge bill coming in this week for a CT scan for a dog kicked in the head.

Thank you so much! Her situation is so precarious and we are so worried about her.
🎄Our 2024 Christmas Appeal is here! 🎄
https://paws2rescue.com/2024-christmas-appeal/
We have an important update to our appeal this year and the changes are based on a number of factors which you can read about in full here: www.paws2rescue.com/paws2rescue-2024-christmas-appeal/
Our Christmas Appeal remains a vital part of our work in rural Romania. It is fundamental to strengthening our relationships with local communities which in turn means we can educate more animal owners, conduct more well-attended neuter campaigns, provide more veterinary support, help more strays and encourage compassion towards them.
What we learned from our 2023 campaignis the heartbreaking reality of many families having no food other than old vegetables and dry bread to celebrate with on Christmas Day.
That is why for our 2024 appeal, we will be requesting donations of £10 for a child’s Christmas gift or £5 towards a family food bag which we will purchase in Romania. We will issue certificates and, as always, take photos during the distribution so our donors can see the impact of their generous gifts.
We do understand that for some supporters, this change may take away the joy of donating a physical gift. However, without the time and financial costs associated with the traditional lorry campaign, we will be able to ensure every penny goes directly to the communities that need it most.
From the very bottom of our hearts, thank you for supporting our Christmas Appeal this year and hopefully give these rural communities a Christmas of full stomachs and happy families; a true gift of Christmas.
Can you help please?
We have fed her for months, in a safe place or so we thought, until we saw her limping… she has clearly been hit by a car in the car park and we hoped it wouldn’t be a broken leg. She has been a community stray here for a very long time, and we could never get her out of our minds.
Yesterday when Melisa went to feed her, she noticed that the girl was in more pain than usual and knew that she couldn’t leave her there, not even for one more night.
She will need X-rays and surgery, a cost of around £300 maximum (we don’t know the actual cost until we pay after the surgery).
If you can help us to cover the vet bill, we would be so grateful. Oh and she won’t be returning to the streets again.

No donation is ever too small, and as always, thank you.
Can you help us to keep feeding the strays please?Just a tiny donation each, goes such a long way. Our rescuers feed literally hundreds of strays and owned dogs who aren’t fed well.
These are just a few of the dogs you helped in the last few days, to show you the scale of the amazing work rescuers do in helping Nobody’s Dogs.
As we cannot take in every stray, all we can do is neuter and feed, keeping an eye over them all, making sure no one starves.
It is you that makes this happen.
If you can spare a £1 or £2, please help us to keep feeding the strays.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
The Happy Van has arrived and all our dogs are settling into their forever and foster homes. Nelly was so quiet at the shelter, a calm girl, and was looking for a nice quiet forever home. The little black and white girl, this is her, within an hour of arrival… 😂😂😂
Today is National Cat Day!
We would love to see pictures of your cats.
We came to Romania to visit our dogs, to spend time with rescuers, to feed the strays, to help. It’s mentally and physically exhausting, and we will tell you more this week. In the meantime, here is just one of many sights that stopped us sleeping. So many abandoned dogs come here, there are no words to describe it. For now we have no immediate solution for her, but we will find one.
Driving back this evening and we saw a dead mum in the road 😢 as we stopped the car to check, these tiny pups ran out to us, at least one is blind. Heartbreaking doesn’t come close to what we have seen, it’s gone 10pm and after a 6am start, we are still working. Poor pups 😢 If you can donate to help us get milk and pup food it would be the hugest help thank you so much.
And our Spay a Stray campaign continues. With males fighting over a female in heat, our team have to distract and run with the girl. We have to stop strays being born, we have to keep spaying. One dog at a time.
Respect to our teams across the world who share our dream of no more strays. Thank you to everyone who donates to make our work possible.
